Well, since no one else has, I've decided to do some actual addition to the
/story/
instead of blithering on about the science... just a small vignette.

Kiryuu Touga swept into the ballroom, Nanami to one side and
Utena to the other. The assembled students of Ohtori Gakuen
hushed, all eyes turning to examine the trio. The only one to move
was Anthy, who slipped from the crowd to Utena's side.
Then Touga stepped out onto the stairs, descending slowly, long red
hair trailing behind like a corona of fire. A final step, to clasp Juri's
hand.
"Might I have this dance?" rumbled the soft, husky voice. "I suppose,"
came the cool, calm reply.
Nanami looked down from the balcony, watching the pair, a single tear
glistening on her cheek. "That dress," she said, "Ah, oniisama, that
dress looks even better on you than it did on Utena...."
