I once had a set of instructions for how my body was to develop, but I got
exposed to an awful genetic recombinatory virus and died.  Luckily, the
virus changed it so that I didn't really die and instead mutated into some
sort of pre-historic Betazoidian lizard creature.  Then all the dormant
leprons turned on and I became God.

In other words, I found the story amusing, and the fact that it isn't
scientifically accurate shouldn't really matter.

Washuu's pseudoscience was a plot device. What was important part of the story was the manner and path in which the Nerima Virus spread.

The story was swell, Chris.  I laughed.  I laughed some more.

I've done my job then! ^_^

Then I found
my box of Ding Dongs and ate one, and the laughed again.

You go, boy!
