Series Summary:

The story of my life... I was eight, living with the parents in a
village that had been transported brick-by-brick from its original
position in middle England to just outside Tokyo. My father worked for
the Japanese government, fooling visiting foreigners about the true
nature of the product of the vast silicon chip mines. One day a girl
called Tuzi turned up and claimed to be my sister. Somehow, everyone
believed her, even my parents, despite the markings on her face and the
rabbit ears. But _I_ knew, oh yes.

Episode Summary:

In which we go and rescue Tuzi and Ranma, someone gets wet and just
about everybody beats each other up. Well, what else did you expect?
There's a talking tree in there as well.

Uh... huh. I can't say it's very funny, I'm sorry, because I've seen all
the
gags before in other stories. It's not terribly original, either, because
most of the humor comes from the same things I've seen before and very
little comes from the newer additions to the story. Read it if you've got
time to kill, certainly, but it falls too flat for me to seriously
recommend
it.

OOH! YEAH! Oh BABY! Slag me off some more, you know I love it!
(hehe! ;) And _that_ joke was nicked from...

To be perfectly honest, I agree with you. Let this be a warning to
all other authors out there who get to a point in a chapter where
they're too tired to write anymore and can't think of a decent
ending, and decide to release a cliffhanger without first working out
what the resolution's going to be. Classic case of writing oneself
into a corner. :P

Despite all my (humourous and well-meant) protestations about the
amount of Ranma fanfics out there I decided to have a go myself.
This was a mistake. The next chapter is already better and I've only
written the title and my email address in it so far... ;) And it
doesn't have Ranma in it... Can I claim I was being ironic? (No)
Drat.

I can't even say "did you take it in context with the previous
episodes?" because it has almost bug-all to do with the overall plot
(and there IS one, and I know how THAT's going to end ;). The only
relevant bit is to cement Tuzi's character as morally ambiguous and
to make it clear that she got the creature back. So, mea culpa, I
write that one off as an ugly and unfortunate mistake and swear never
to do it again. See this wet, see this dry, cross my heart and hope
to die.

Although I will just mention that I've read a total of two Ranma fics
in my entire life, both crossovers, so I can't've nicked THAT much... ;)
