With the techinical aspect done and over with, let's get
to the story itself. Gary once again complains that there
doesn't seem to be a story. Well, once again, people seem
to forget that Ranma manga and anime as well don't seem
to have much story either.
This was my argument exactly.
Then I'm afraid that your argument is based on a false assumption -- for
the manga, at least. (I won't get into what I think of the anime. ^_^)
Every storyline of the manga has a plot, some sort of conflict to make
us interested in what's going to happen. Try and find me any manga story
where the characters just stand around and talk to each other politely.
There isn't one. And neither does the manga repeat the same stock scenes
over and over without some sort of interesting twist and/or making them
relevant to the story at hand.
