Hi again. I'm working on another story as I work on redoing most of the
plot of Toccata and Fugue, which has also been renamed. Okay. Screw that,
the story is different, and most of the plan of the story has changed, and I
have another two stories I came up with in the mean time. Whee. (if you

Pre-Timeline V2.0 Notes:
The real point of this message is this: I was hit by inspiration on my way
to a final review, and instead of studying today, I spent about 7 hours
writing a 20 page timeline that takes me to the beginning of Ranma 1/2,
Tenchi, Sailor Moon, and AMG, with a small bit of Star Wars in the middle
(but not much, it's a plot device).
Anyway, take a gander and, if you finish, please tell me what you think.
There's a few more questions at the bottom for those of you who do finish
it. And yes, I know the universe moves very quick...but this is what I want
to happen. I like it like this.
FYI: If a line has a "!" (a bang) in front of it, it has changed from the
original form.
Notes on specific things changed since the original incarnation: I'm not
doing anything Slayers related for now. This is daunting as it is, and I'm
not as familiar with Slayers as the rest of the others. !!!!Posted shortly
after this will be my Jurai Thesis. It is not Canon. It is not definitive.
It is mine, and it is what I will be basing things off of in the story.!!!!
Also, please, please, please, please read the Jurai Thesis before sending me
comments / questions / flames on anything Jurai related! I wrote it because
I worked really hard with The Dragonbard and Tulio Arends (who both get a
big thanks) to flesh out a lot of Jurai related things.

you haven't seen the Tenchi OVA, don't read the last entry on the timeline.

Tal'shi'mi'adar - The end of the second multiversal cycle. Cataclysmic.
Kami-Sama announces birth of 3rd multiversal cycle. Most transcendental
beings, gods, and any mortals left alive perish.
! During the second multiversal cycle, the Q Continuum existed.
After the end of that multiverse, the Continuum was destroyed, save one Q.
(Guess who.)
Ka'lis'mean - Third multiversal cycle begins. Kami-sama announces that he's
taking a one-billion year vacation. Leaves the universe in the hands of the
six children and the jester.

(Character Notes on the early characters:
Kami-sama - The big guy. Head honcho.
The Six: The Six are the original children of Kami-sama. They're not
constrained by any power but his, and as powerful as they are, their power
pales in comparison to Kami-sama's.
Quynn - First born. Second in power to Kami-sama only. Knows this,
and is very well controlled, but definitely has a strong sense of humor.
He's known as the clipper of universes, as it's his job to end universes
that die or oversee those that have a high propensity to merge. Known to
few gods and fewer mortals. Rarely takes a wife or romantic coupling, as
he's too worried that anyone he loves might be used to get him to use his
powers. If he were a D&D character, he would have no alignment and free
range.
Petunia - Where Quynn is the keeper of realities, she's the keeper
of relativity. She also guards the gates to Quynn's chambers. If Quynn
sets the rules of a reality, she's the enforcer. She's better known than
Quynn, but doesn't offer much info. In D&D terms, she's Lawful pragmatic
Neutral, and believes that good and evil are useful tools in the promotion
of Law. However, too much of one or the other, to her, "is a bad thing".
The Triplets (Tenchi):
Tsunami - The artist, the creator, the protector of life.
Cheerful. Enjoys rainbows. (Lawful Good)
Tokimi - The destroyer. While Tsunami creates, she destroys.
She starts out lawful evil, with structured ideas to her selfishness and
purpose, but becomes chaotic evil as time passes.
Scarlet - The balance of the two. Neither a creator nor a
destroyer, she prefers to learn and study. If she must create to do so, she
does. If she must destroy to do so, she does. A true neutral in the
druidic sense, she wishes to balance forces: chaos vs.law, good vs. evil.
Cat - The last of the six, he's the meddler. Leans more towards
chaos and neutrality than any other character. Isn't fond of evil, and
tends to avoid Tokimi or tries to do stuff to piss her off. His goal is to
enjoy himself. Very intelligent. Likes to play poker, among other games.
Cosmic poker is a kick and a half, on that scale.
The Jester - Loses his memory at the instant of Ka'lis'mean. Many of
his higher plane powers disappear, but he's got enough to create a
traveling partner and wanders for many years. (Probably becomes Q.)

Multiverse to cool down.
- Multiverse begins to cool and 4 realities appear: Matter/Time,
Matter/Anti-time, Antimatter/Time, Anti-matter/Anti-time. Quynn ends the
anti-time realities as no life can form in them.
- The Jester and Companion create a pocket dimension and become lost.
- Petunia begins her guard of Quynn's chambers.
- Tokimi and Tsunami begin to a very long game of dice with the universe.
It later involves marbles, and then tennis. Scarlet referees.

-Kami-sama decides it's a nice time to begin populating the universe.
-Planets in the Mlkwai galaxy become hospitable to humans.
-Tsunami creates the first humans in this universe. (Year One of the First

-Tokimi gets annoyed, and begins causing supernovae.
-Scarlet paints a picture of something she will be creating. Calls it
Yggdrasil.
-Quynn and Cat get the dice Tsunami and Tokimi were using.
-Petunia takes up ska dancing and continues her guard.
_Year 100,000 of the First Race_
-Tsunami creates other species. (The Hutt, the Wookie, the Mon Calamari)

-The First Race begins exploring outside of their home system, the Sutzu
system, via sleeper ships. Colonization of other planets begins.
-Scarlet designs the World Eater for Tokimi, but Kami-sama orders her to put
it on the outer edge of the universe.
-The Jester and his Companion create a platypus, creating the universe's
first cosmic joke.
_Year 600,000 of the First Race_
-Tokimi begins the process of destroying the sun of the First Race.
-Life begins to form on other planets, semi-independently of Tsunami.
-Quynn and Cat finish their game of dice, the Mlkway galaxy assumes a spiral
shape.
-Tokimi introduces the concept of slavery to the Hutt.
-Scientists of several races (including a scarlet-haired one whose name no
one could remember) create the first hyperdrive. It is 20 times faster than
the previous faster-than-light drive, reducing the travel time between
planets from months to weeks or mere days.
-A group calling themselves Jedi forms, who can use a mysterious power
called the Force. They claim to be founded by a woman known as The Flower
and a man known as The Cat.

- The First Galactic Republic is formed, with the Jedi as the keepers of
order and mediators of law.

-The first Dark Lord of the Sith is named. He claimed to be taught by the
one called the Great Destroyer. The Dark Side is first made known.
-The Galactic Republic begins to expand, inviting new races and ideas into

-Sith Empire begins its rebuilding, lead by a rouge Jedi and his followers.

-Hatrox III ends all life on the planet during a civil war. Galactic ban of
bioweapons.

-Tsunami, aided by Scarlet, begins creation of a new planet, Jurai. Several
Jedi accompany Tsunami, and they pledge themselves to her. Tokimi is kept
unaware of Jurai. Tsunami places the new planet of Jurai far from the
reaches of the Empire. The Jedi form a council of rulers on Jurai, and the
head of the council's lightsaber becomes the Tenchiken (Master Key, if you
didn't know).
-Luke, Leia born and hidden.
_Years 18-22 of the Galactic Empire_
-Events of SW IV, V, VI.
-Alderaan destroyed, much to Tsunami's dismay. Tokimi becomes fully chaotic
evil.
_Year 32 of the Galactic Empire / Year One of the New Republic_
-New Republic formed.
-Jedi rebuilt
(Notes on this section: Okay. Yes, it is an altered history of Star Wars.
I think it's not bad. The Jurai powers seem not unlike augmented force
powers, and it provides a basis for the Tenchiken. It also gives Jurai a
firm moral grounding, especially in the mentality of their powers and their
ideals.)
_Year 1000 of the New Republic_
-Several New Republic scientists discover a small blue-green planet orbiting
at approximately 93 million miles an insignificant yellow star. A team is
formed, and a small settlement is made on the planet, which they name Terra.
_Year 2000 of the New Republic_
-Tokimi decides to begin the destruction of Coruscant. Kami-sama begins to
take notice of her actions.
_Year 3000 of the New Republic_
-Coruscant is destroyed without warning, as unknown geological forces rock
the planet, eventually breaking it apart.
-Most Jedi who survive feel a deep need to head to one of two planets on the
edges of the galaxy. Some go to Jurai, others to Terra.
--The War of the Three Goddesses begins--
-Tokimi begins an all out assault on Tsunami, and Scarlet allies herself
with Tsunami. Cat and Petunia attempt to intervene to preserve what little
balance is left, but are unable to assist. Quynn, with permission from
Kami-sama, begins actions to preserve the current multiverse, and finally is
able to lock Tokimi into a separate dimension/universe.
-Tsunami creates the first tree of Jurai, and seals herself within. The
Jurai ruling council begins the process of bonding to trees. As an added
benefit, Tsunami's merging with the trees and the planet enhances the powers
of the ruling family and extends the lifespan of all Juraians.
-Scarlet suffers from loss of identity and many of her powers are lost to
her. She enters the Galactic Science Academy and becomes a professor. It
is assumed that she comes from a long-lived human race, as she appears to be
26 but has at least 4,000 years of accumulated knowledge. She assumes the
name Washu when she arrives.
--The War of the Three Goddesses Ends--
_Year 3500 of the New Republic / Year One of the Jurai_
- The planet of Jurai becomes the dominant military and political force in
the galaxy.
- Petunia, for protection of the future, removes the planet Terra from most
star charts, excepting those of Juraians with M-level security clearance.
The Sol System slowly becomes a tale of legend and most assume that it never
existed.
-The Galactic Police are founded. Backed by the Jurai Empire and several
smaller republics and empires across the galaxy, it is given police and
judicial powers in cases of criminal law.
_Year 500 of the Jurai_
-Washu gives birth to her first child, but it is taken from her as she is
not of noble birth. She chooses to remain in the form of a 12 year old from
that point.
[V'mal'sir'inni - in the god-tongue]
- Kami-sama, acting on advice of Quynn, Petunia, Cat, and a more powerful
Jester and Companion, creates the Yggdrasil system from plans made by
Scarlet. Lower gods and goddesses as well as demons and demonesses are
born. Doublet system is created, to prevent warring between the two sides.
Kami-sama, Quynn, Petunia, Cat, the Jester, and his Companion are immune to
the system and are not constrained by the Doublet system, as they are not
gods in the sense of Yggdrasil.
_Year 1000 of the Jurai_
-Washu travels to Terra and discovers that the planet has extremely high
magical potential, an extremely rare occurrence. (!!!POSSIBLE SLAYERS CROSS
HERE!!!) She takes a sample of Terra's crust for further analysis.
_Year 2000 of the Jurai_
-Washu succeeds in creating a pure magic focus from the crust of Terra, and
molds it into a crystal. However, she finds that the magic of the planet is
bound to those of the planet, and she presents the crystal to the head of
state on Terra.
-Petunia leaves her guard post under orders from Kami-sama.
-Cat becomes a Wandering Kami, as he leaves to study the other planes and
generally futz around.
-Quynn begins to fall in love with the Goddess of the Future under the
Yggdrasil system, but refuses to let her know, as he's worried that it could
lead to her becoming hurt or worse as a way of forcing his hand.
_Year 3000 of the Jurai / Year One of the Golden Kingdom_
-The united Terran kingdom, the Golden Kingdom, begins the terraforming of
the other planets in the Sol System using the focus of the Crystal of Washu.
They begin with the moon.
_Year 3100 of the Jurai / Year 100 of the Golden Kingdom_
- A mysterious woman, identifying herself as named after the last planet of
the Sol system, Pluto, pledges her protection to the royal family of the Sol
System, and suggests the creation of a magical soldier called a Sailor
Scout, drawing power from each of the Sol Systems planets, including the one
known as Mu between Terra and Mars. Pluto suggests that they will be
instrumental in protecting the system and the future rulers of the kingdom.
- Kami-Sama offers to "alter" the status of the Doublet system and changes
his protection of the Goddess of the Future, who adopts the name Skuld. The
changes are only applied to her, and the two begin a relationship so
secretive that none save them and Kami-sama know of it.
_Year 5000 of the Jurai / Year 2000 of the Golden Kingdom_
- A Jurian scout ship discovers the location of the Golden Kingdom and
Terra, but then lose all track of the Sol System on all of their records.
Guards say that a girl wearing a sailor suit with green hair destroyed the
records, but they are mainly dismissed as crackpots.
(Juraian dating system dropped for space constraints.)
_Year 4500 of the Golden Kingdom / Year One of the Silver Millennium _
- The now terraformed Sol System welcomes the reign on Queen Serenity, who
takes the throne on the moon at this point. The Crystal of Washu is somehow
altered to allow its use only by the line of Serenity, and develops a silver
tint, which leads to the change of its name.
_Year 400 of the Silver Millennium_
- Serenity gives birth to the future queen, the Princess Serenity.
- Cat and The Jester and his Companion meet. The Jester and Companion
inform Cat that they have taken the name of Q. (NOT SURE ABOUT THIS YET.)
The Companion-Q takes leave of Jester-Q and departs for parts unknown.
_Year 1000 of the Silver Millennium / circa 4000 B.C.E_
- The Silver Millennium, born in peace and love, ends in hate and war, as
the Negaverse subverts the people of Terra and destroys the Moon Kingdom.
- The planet Mu is destroyed, forming parts of the rings of Jupiter and
Saturn as well as the asteroid belt between Terra and Mars.
- Queen Serenity sends her daughter, the other Sailors, and the Prince of
Terra into the future.
- The Silver Crystal is broken, and the pieces are lost.
- The Negaverse is banished for a long long time.
- Terra is reduced to a pre-bronze age culture, except in certain very rare
circles, who go into hiding. Most knowledge of magic is lost, what is not
lost is unknown to any outside of those circles.
- Terra is given different names by different splinter cultures. The
multiple cultures is something that had been unseen in the galaxy since the
early days, as it only led to strife. This proves painfully true in the
future.
- !! Jusenkyo is formed as the wild magic of the crystal is released into
the wild.
_circa 3000 B.C.E., Earth Date System_
- The Old Kingdom in Egypt is formed.
- Minoan civilization emerges in Crete.
- Sumerian civilization emerges in Mesopotamia.
- Civilization starts in the Indus Valley.
- Cat and Q journey to Earth, where Cat decides to create large bones of
lizard-like creatures and buries them. Q brings the platypus to Earth, in
an attempt to rejuvenate his old joke.
- Washu enters a partnership with her student, Kagato. Ryoko and Ryo-ohki
are created.
- Kagato and Washu design and build the Souja, and Kagato traps Washu on the
reverse of the ship. He then takes control of Ryoko and Ryo-ohki and begins
his career as a criminal.
_circa 2000 B.C.E., Earth Date System_
- The warrior goddess Ashura drowns at Jusenkyo, which was strange.
- Middle Kingdom begins in Egypt.
- It is lost to history, but either a great idiot, a tremendous genius, or a
sadistic fiend (or perhaps all three) creates the Cat Fist.
- Babylonian civilization begins in Mesopotamia.
- Mycenaean civilization forms in Greece.
_circa 1800 B.C.E., Earth Date System_
- Shang Dynasty forms in China.
_circa 1600 B.C.E., Earth Date System_
- New Kingdom in Egypt.
- Teaching of the Cat Fist is banned in Egypt.
- Hebrews form the first monotheistic culture on Earth. (Which according to
Quynn, was not wrong. There is only one God. He just has lots of agents.)
- The rise of Greece begins
_circa 1000 B.C.E., Earth Date System_
- The Joketsuzoku tribe settles near Jusenkyo in China.
- The Musk form from men who have left the Joketsuzoku. They discover that
some of the pools have curses, but do not begin the practice of marrying
animals converted in the Spring-Of-Drowned-Girl for another 2500 years,
mainly because the spring does not yet exist.
- Saffron and his people begin inhabiting what would become known as Phoenix
Mountain.
- King Solomon begins his rule in the Kingdom of Israel. A rumor began that
when he made his most difficult decisions, a symbol in the shape of the
crescent moon would form on his forehead, but it was never substantiated.
_circa 656 B.C.E., Earth Date System_
- Buddha reaches enlightenment.
_circa 625 B.C.E., Earth Date System_
-The rise of Rome begins.
_circa 200 B.C.E., Earth Date System_
- Greece begins its fall.
- Rome adds yeast and continues to rise.
- Q and Cat, currently calling himself Puck, begin what is known to the gods
as the Great Joke.
- An octopus drowns at Jusenkyo, furthering the theory that Jusenkyo ignores
reason.

- Imperial Rome! Yippee!
_One C. E., Earth Date System_
- The Great Joke comes to fruition. Quynn laughs. Kami-sama is annoyed, and
founds the first Relief Office, staffed by the Goddesses Q and Puck.
Needless to say, they are unhappy.
- Quynn begins to convert the Yggdrasil system to it's modern state, helped
by the god Hephaestus and the goddess Skuld. (No. I'm not sure if the
Great Joke is as offensive as it may seem. It's not what you're thinking
although that had occurred to me, but my own ethics overruled me.)
_circa 200 C. E., Earth Date System_
- pi is computed to five decimal places. Circle lovers rejoice.
_circa 250 C. E., Earth Date System_
- A platypus drowns at Jusenkyo, which confused almost as many people as the
drowning of Ashura and the drowning of an octopus.
_circa 450 C. E., Earth Date System_
- The ancient state of Japan is formed.
_451 - 1296 C. E., Earth Date System_
- Stuff happens. The dark ages. (THIS IS ANOTHER PLACE WHERE I COULD
POSSIBLY INSERT SLAYERS.)

- Spring of Drowned Girl formed at Jusenkyo. The Musk begin their practice
of dunking animals to gain wives. The first Musk King dunks a dragon and
gives birth to the dragon line of the Musk. A spirit with a red shirt,
black hair and pants, and a ponytail curses.

- Prince Yosho of Jurai born to Emperor Asuza and Empress Funaho, a human.

Ranma and company travel to the past via the Nanban Mirror. Sailor Pluto
gets the first of many headaches.

- Katsuhito (Yosho) Masaki travels to China to observe Jusenkyo. Meets
Cologne, but refuses to fight a marriage battle. However, he does part on

- Katsuhito marries Achika's mother.

- The Goddess of the Past, Urd, is reborn into her current body. (I'm going
from Fujishima's decision on ages, not the manga.)

- Noboyuki and Achika marry.
- Soun and Genma decide to unite their families to join the now two schools
of Anything Goes.
- Chiba Mamoru is born.

- Soun marries Kimiko.

- The Goddess of the Present, Belldandy is reborn.

- Ranma Saotome and Genma Saotome begin their training trip.
- Achika Masaki passes away.
_1987 C. E., Earth Date System_
- Ukyo and Ranma meet. Genma steal yatai. Duh.
_1990 C. E., Earth Date System_
- Ranma Saotome undergoes Cat Fist training. Bast develops an intense hate
of Genma Saotome. (I doubt this.)
_1994 C. E., Earth Date System_
- Ryoga and Ranma meet.
_1996 C. E., Earth Date System_
- Ranma gets cursed. Defeats Shampoo for the first time. Returns to China.
Gets engaged to Akane Tendo. Rest of Nerima Wrecking Crew forms.
- Usagi Tuskino becomes Sailor Moon.
- Tenchi releases Ryoko. Ayeka and Sasami come to Earth. Mihoshi comes to
Earth. Washu is saved, and Kagato is killed.
- Keiichi Morisato makes his wish.

And that's where I am on the timeline now. I have multiple split points to
go from now. I'm going to convert the timeline into a prose story soon, but
past 1996 is still up in the air.
Yes, I know I should know where it's going. But I'll cross that bridge when
I get to it.
Now, here's my questions for you, dear readers:
(And please, unless you absolutely must reply to the list, I think it would
reduce FFML clutter to respond to me only. But it is your choice.)
1) Does this make sense? Does it make for a good story background?
2) Is this type of thing over done? Do you think one more would be bad or
good?
3) What do you think of the other characters?
4) (A BIG ONE) This one will alter a lot of things, depending on how it
goes. What is Ranma? Is he related to Usagi? Is he related to Tenchi? Is
he...Quynn and the elder Skuld's child? Did his curse form unlock his magic
potential? Is he going to be written out of the story? (Not likely.) I'm a
fan of Ranma (the character) so I tend to write him positively, and I'm
leaning towards a divine Ranma or a Q/Cat-like plane wandering Ranma. (I'm
rather fond of those...in fact, my Control series (currently on hold, cause
it pissed me off) stars Ranma in that form.
5) Does anybody really know what time it is? Does anybody really care?
