Oooh Ranma acting like Akane? did this Ranma get a brain transplant from

Hey! ;p
Okay, so "Bitter End" Akane was less villanous (slightly more judgemental,
but less verbally abusive--physically...well this Ranma didn't stick a
sword into their chests)
::blink blink:: so Ranma got a brain transplant from both "Bitter End"
Akane AND Ryouga? Boy it must be getting crowded in there.
Mou! ;p
well...it seemed like it ^_^; I mean "Bitter End" Akane was well crafted,
she was cruel, and viscious...no offense Zen but she was
Why is Ranma such a Slime? Why is Ryouga so Angelic? Why is
Akane so demure? out side of changes to characters from Takahashi-sama's
work, these are questions you should ask. Take "Bitter End" Akane for
example, she's evil, really really evil (Zen was most definitely showing
his pro-Ukyou bias in that one) but even though I hated her, despised her,
I still simpathized with her.
Anou... Thanks, Zen thinks... ^_^;;
Believe me, it was a a complement (there aren't very many people who can
make me hate Akane while keeping her relatively in character--or
believably developing her character into something evil--AND you made me
feel sorry for her...it was scary ^_^)
Or Ryouga from "Lies" hated him too, the
lying SOB, yet somehow Kleppe-sensei made me feel sorry for him. It's
okay to have someone whom you're writing that you have a clear bias for,
it's only natural, but you shouldn't let your bias turn the characters
into cardboard cutouts of your favored morals.
With all respect to Kleppe-san's excellent stories, 'Lies' is not one
of them. 'Lies' was written by Jeff Hosmer - and to this day is one
of Zen's all time favourite Ranma Dark Fics.
oops...my sincere apologies to Hosmer-sama, I didn't bother to look up the
auther and see what it got me ^_^;;
Other than that, a very complete and thoughtful analysis, Woo-san...
Zen agrees with it solidly.
wow, thanks ^_^
