Okay, so it's not the most original idea in the world, the 'Shinji gets a clue' story. Hey, the characters themselves even bring up the subject in the series: In one episode someone says words to the effect of 'They'd kill us if they knew the truth'. But you did it with style, which is what counts.

Rei's intervention did seem a little weird at first, seeing that it's Rei III whom we're talking about here. But it did fit.

Overall, a very good read.
