If his directional curse was given to him at Jusenkyou, why would he be there
in the first place? The only reason he went to Jusenkyou was because he
thought Ranma didn't show up for his challenge, if he didn't have the
directional curse he would have no problem showing up on time and therefore
have no reason to follow Ranma.
