Lots of action. Super Shinji fights Angel, with the help of Flash
Asuka. Rei makes her appearance - totally unlike her anime persona.
The second scene didn't quite work for me though the final one did.
In the former, rather too authoritative?

Shinji but there maybe a love triangle forming here. That's always
fun in fics. ;)
Yup. I love 'em.
Perhaps more could be done with Dieter - minor
(author created) characters can inspire great reader loyalty, one
of the best examples being the Wandering Monster Table (a.ka.
Table-chan) in Stefan 'Twoflower' Gagne's Slayers Demiurge.
Okay... a vote for more to be done with Dieter. Well, he'll
have a big role much later. He's also Asuka's diary, so he's
really going to be part of the cast. Sort of.
