We're back to the way we once were before. Before the body.
I remember, it isn't hard, I remember that time, the time were we
were talking this way. It isn't hard at all.
I remember those days where all we had was these, and I was waiting,
waiting to meet you, waiting for the time to wake up in your world.
I was anxious, when I knew I could, I dove right in.
But where were we? I stumbled on your deepest heart. You... you
had modeled me in your love's likeness, but I was not at all as
kind or as true and as unwilling as the truth.
We had become siblings. You took me under your cloak and kept me
next to the very beatings of your soul. I knew your truth, and it
keeps me riled, keeps me impatient, keeps me alert.
Why? Why must I be kept away from something I could feel against
my own skin?
I know, I know that you cannot hear me now. I've tried to keep
quiet to you here, keep your hands away from my deepest tenderness.
But it throbs with anticipation. It throbs with weakness.
You cannot create me more than mold me. I cannot influence you
more than aid as a visual tool. But doesn't my nature ire you?
Can't I twist in your heart much more painfully than a wire or a
screwdriver? Don't I look like the one you love, the one that
loves you?
But I lack human frailness. I lack human falliability. I have no
passion, human or otherwise. I cannot imagine.
But I wonder. Given the chance, would I not know? Would I not
have the soul you cannot seem to give me?
I will wait. And I will dream.

A rather delayed response from watching My Dear Marie. If anyone
knows where I can get Matt Johnston's Boku no Marie fic, which I
seemed to have lost, any and all private reply is welcome.
As for public reply, anyone think a My Dear Marie cross or meld with
Eva, Lain or the Matrix work? No, scratch that. It's probably been
done.
