"Well, you're a martial artist, and by that time
you weren't serious about it," Genma said without
thinking. "I don't want to see my boy married to some
frilly little girl that'll twist his mind away from
the Art."
I don't believe it. Genma is going to want to see the
family line (and school) continue. If Ranma didn't have
a kid with Akane, then he'll want Ranma to remarry.
Unless of course he rented a clue and is cleverly going
to decide to oppose the marriage as much as possible in
the hope that Ranma will get contrary. However, he could
be opposed to Ranma marrying a girl who doesn't come with
a dowry. Why would this Genma have agreed to engage
Ranma to Akane and tried to push it so hard if he wanted
Ranma to remain single and childless?
With Akane dead, wouldn't Genma try to push him onto Nabiki or Kasumi?
There's still the promise to unite the schools.
Ryoko woke with a start, she'd been in the halls of
the Yagami again, trying to convince Tenchi not to go.
Why couldn't he have just seen that his task was
impossible, he would be alive now. Kagato had
defeated her without a fight, and overpowered even
Yosho and the knights.
But then didn't Kagato have the ability to just switch
her off mentally?
Wrong series, wrong Kagato.
Alien physiology or no, the most characteristic symptom
of "withdrawl" is shaking. Particularly severe alchohol
withdrawl also causes nightmarish hallucinations (because
alchohol suppresses dreaming).
Actually, I've always wondered whether or not Ryoko really was a drunkard.
She certainly liked her sake, but there wasn't really any evidence she was
an alcoholic (on several occasions, she went more than a day without a
drink, and never experienced signs of withdrawl).
~Bounty?~ Ryouga sweatdropped. ~She's a
criminal!?~
That seems like a bit of a conclusion to jump to.
Rewards have been placed on people who aren't criminals.
Actually, I read it the same way he does. Except that in the Tenchi
universe, it's not bounty, it's "reward". But, then again, look at the old
west - having a "reward" on your head generally does imply your a criminal.
I just don't understand Ranma's "it figures" response at Doc Tofu's when
Ryouga spills the beans.
"Rest a little first Ryoko," Nagi said. The bounty
hunter's next move was to reach under Ryoko's blouse
and tunic and rip out the stitches on her wound.
Ryoko gritted her teeth at the pain as Nagi dropped
her.
Since when did Nagi get so vicious? After ep 24, Nagi and Ryoko are almost
friends. "Don't let anyone else kill you, Ryoko."
"There's a bounty on Ryoko?" Ranma blinked.
"Actually, that makes sense. Where were you trying to
go anyway?"
See above.
"I don't think she was born on Earth. She started
Tofu already knows, from chapter two. "First of all, did you know she's not
human?" Or whatever the line is. Alien generally implies not being born on
earth.
