chuckled a bit and gazed proudly at his son. "Well,
do you remember those books we took from the
master after we sealed him in the cave?" Soun nodded
as Genma continued, "Well one of the books
contained an experimental training technique.
It called for me to isolate the boy as a babe and
never speak to him. The idea was that the speech
center of his brain would learn to read peoples body
language." Soun's eyes widened "You mean the
reason he fights so well is that he knows what
your going to do before you do it based off your
bodies movements?" Genma nodded. "Amazing!"
.... Well, well, well! Someone has been reading Batgirl, too. I was
hoping someone would do a fic like this, but without the bat.^_^x
Author Notes: As for crossovers, Weiss Kreuz would
actually be a possibility since Ranma's training
included running out the local gangs in the area.
The knowledge of his skill could reach the ears
of less than noble parties and require the
assistance of our 4 favorite flower shop workers.
But that is all I can think of for now. Any
suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Nice crossover idea, by the by. Especially with the Weiss Kreuz
angle. I think it'll be a good start to get more people interested and
writing about the series (hell, that's how I became a Cheetaholic.
Thanks, Gregg, James!). A good series for one direction could also be
Crying Freeman. Ranma could run into Freeman's gang, gain his
attention, impress him by learning his moves, and become his
successor.
Another direction could have him fight a person he can't read or
defeat, maybe when he's fifteen. He decides to go on a journey by
himself for a while and pick up a bunch of different anime character's
styles (you know, Hadoken, Ryu Sho Sen, Kame Hame Ha, whatever). Many
different ways this could spin.
Looking forward to more!
