Okay...so, I posted this at 2:40 in the morning, Daylight Savings Time, East
Coast, USA, and I've already got a few questions/answers. I'm going to
sleep after this, and I'm spending tomorrow studying for finals, so...

1) On my premise that Juraian powers are linked to the force:
(NOTE: THIS IS OVA TENCHI. NOT TENCHI UNIVERSE!)
Petunia and Cat begin teaching the force from their own Neutral
perspective. Petunia (at this point) uses the theory that ethically, these
Jedi will be upholding the Law, and that if it takes good or evil to uphold
the law, then they're both tools that can be used in upholding Law. Cat (at
this time) comes from the idea that good and evil are meaningless concepts,
but he's willing to putz around with this idea of a Force for Petunia's
sake. But they're also coming from a god-view (and ethically neutral view)
that mortal emotions are neither positive nor negative. However, they don't
stop to think (gods are human too! :-) that while emotion may not be
positive or negative, what that person does with that emotion can be
positive or negative. Anger is simply an emotion, it's what I do with my
anger that makes me good or bad. If I'm angry (and I'm using a black/white
worldview here, no shades of grey), and I choose the light side, I'll talk
my problem out. If I'm angry, and I choose the dark side, I'm gonna take
out my mallet and go smashy-smashy.
So, what does this mean? The early Jedi, for approximately the
first 150 years of the Order, are trained by Petunia and Cat. They know
exactly what the two higher beings mean, and they have no problem with only
accessing the light side. Tokimi changes all this. All she needs to do is
teach one being that since the force is based on such emotions, power can be
achieved much quicker if you choose the darker solution.
So, what does Tsunami do to prevent this once she takes Jurai? My
idea (as of right now) is that she alters the way Juraians can access the
Force, making them much stronger, but limiting their usage. On board the
Souja, Tenchi uses the Juraian powers for good, since Kagato is an obvious
BAD GUY. He's trying to destroy things, he kills for no reason, etc. So
Tsunami has no problem with this. If Tenchi suddenly tried to rob a bank
using his powers, I'm betting that he'd be as effect as a normal Earthling.

2) Yes, I know there are lots of Q. What do you think Jester-Q (as in, I
torture Picard and Janeway Q) was doing with Companion-Q all this time?
Playing frisbee? They were setting up a whole bunch of lil' 'q'.

3) I'm leaning towards making anything Slayers related a side story. Just
so you know...I can't really fit it in to my timeline. If it does occur,
it's on a separate planet (or universe, with a plane walking Ranma) or
during the early days of the Golden Kingdom.
