Hi, Mike! ^_^
Hey!
> Well, that'd be different, a flying version of Turbo Teen.
Different yes, but good...?
I dunno, but I think Starranger beat us to it in his fic "Tales of the
Wanderer", another interesting series.

Good for you!

That may be true, but you can't deny that she didn't make things easier for
him. She _had_ to know he was in love with her, and she never said 'no'--or
'yes'.
Well, IIRC, at that time it was the girl who was oblivious to the guys
feelings, so I think that played a small part. As for her knowing, I have
to say I disagree.

Hey, trust me. You won't notice how much I actually hat--Eh, I mean, uh...
^_^

> Minmei fan, I just happen to like Minmei a bit more. ::scratches head::
> Hmm....maybe it's because for about 9 years I only had the two first
> Robotech episodes to go by until I was able to collect the series.....
You had to wait _NINE_ years?! Wow, that's some patience.
Well, and the fact that I never knew if there were any other tapes, as the
video stores had the tapes I had, which were those one episode per tape FHE
put out during Robotech's run in '85. You can imagine how ecstatic I was
when I saw that every episode was being released, in which then it took me
another 4 years to get them all....
> Morgen, Tux-boy don't have no hero hair. Outta all the people you
listed,
> Mamoru has the most normal hair 'o them all...
I hadn't noticed that, but it's true. He doesn't even have the hair--he
CAN'T be a hero. ^_^
Not that he ever was... ^_^
> >But, to say the truth, Tuxy doesn't strike me as a big hero. Maybe in
your

> Tux-boy, a big hero in Morgen's fic? Well, he got lucky in a few
chapters,
> but he's still the same old punching bag, which isn't saying much....
I disagree. Come on! He fought _WITHOUT MAGICAL POWERS_ in the Pit against
dozens of youmas. I want to see one of the Senshi doing that.
That doesn't say much for the youma though.... If you can be taken out by
Mamoru then that's rather sad....
> >He rarely wins a fight by his own, hides behind the far more powerful
> >Senshi, and makes corny speechs. Is he a hero? Umm...
> No, he's a disgrace to all superheroes. ^_^
Ha! I knew there was someone out there who thinks like I do.
Yeah, as you can tell, I've lost all respect for him. He was ok for the
first season and R, but after that he became pathetic.... What's the point
if you have cool armor with a sword and don't use it but opt to fight with a
stick and flowers?
> >'Old sourpuss'... Now _that_ is a famous phrase. I'll just have to use

One chapter?! No! This will be long and painful. ^_^
Cool. ::begins evil laughter::
> >It could have been worse. Now that I think about it, Rick would create

> >helluva Moko Takabisha, right? ^_^
> Now that I think of it, damn....
RICK: Finally. I've mastered the Perfect Moko Takabisha. Gosh, I'm almost
TOO good!
Y'know, that reminds me of Hikaru(Rick)'s line from "Macross: Do You
Remember Love?";
Kakizaki(Ben): Wow, Max! He's a genius!!
Hikaru(Rick): So am I!!

Sur--Not gonna tell. ^_^
Aw...
> And I wouldn't tell him that if I were you.. ^_^
Heh. That's what is so wonderful about writing: I can insult one of the
best
martial artists in the world, and he can do absolutely nothing about it.
^_^
Unless it's a revenge fic. ^_^
> >Heheh. Which ego will we the winner? Which ego will be the _biggest_?
> Vegeta? Hiko Seijuurou?
Shinji's...? Nah... ^_^
Shinji? Before he can have an ego he needs to purchase a backbone...
> > >Ah, Minmei. You almost have to pity a girl with so few working brain

> .........
He REALLY dislikes her.
::deadpan:: Yes...I noticed...
> Makes me wonder how Breetai will react when he sees vids of this battle
> later on....
Um, I don't know about this. I don't think the Zentraedi long-range
scanners
would be powerful enough to distinguish a single, tiny Micronian in the
middle of a war zone. Besides, Bretai was focusing his attention in the
SDF-1.
It wasn't through their scanners. Remember the battle pods brought back
vids from the assault on Macross Island? It's when Breetai and Exedore
confirm that they're dealing with Micronians. It was in Chapter 20 of
Genesis

I really don't remember the initial episodes of the anime, so I'm using
McKinney's novels as a guide. And there, the Battloid is brown and white.
I dunno, it reads as Rick's red-trimmed Battloid, at least in the 3 in
1(heh, now there's a pun for Robotech) novel that I have.

Um, DB Z is fights and more fights, with too little comedy (IMO, the
element
that made DB so refreshing). Almost the exact opposite of the original
Dragonball.
True, and though I do like the comedy, I do admit of being a fan of the
million mile per hour fights of DBZ.

Those Decepticons are famous, ne?
Yeah, hell, I saw a humongous 'con symbol on a board during one of the WWF
tapings...

Hehe.

Maybe, and maybe not. Rick kissed her before the final battle against the
Zentraedi, but when everything was over, they weren't that much closer.
Yeah, but by that time Rick had to deal with his feelings for two women, so
it couldn't have been easy on him.
> If we're going by McKinney, then Rick's about 18, IIRC, as is Max.
Right.
> > >Then again, the RDF signed up Max
> > >Sterling, and those blue glasses of his are prescription, so I guess
> > >maybe it doesn't matter.
> And there damn lucky they did sign him.
Yep, he was an ACE.
And he still has it, even in Macross 7. Damn, he's flying a VF-22 in a cave
and still dodging laser blasts and firing back.
One other thing I have to know about. Is Ranma still cursed? It'd actually
be kinda cool to have a fic were Ranma's actually cured, as there are too
little of those..
Thank you very much for your kind words. I'll try to not bore you too much.
Trust me, you aren't. ^_^

Seems to be working just fine. Maybe it's your server? Try again, it should
work.
It's working now, but before I'd get a no-go page.
> > Now get to write Ronin Summer's new sequel! ^_^
> I second that!
Don't keep your fans waiting, Morgan!
Yeah!
Thanks again for the comments, Mike.
No prob.
Bye and good luck,
You too! Until next time!

"The Land Before Time" was over, and the Dinobots were watching
cartoons again.
"Me like Airazor," Swoop said, raptly watching the screen. "She
pretty."
"Megatron even more stupid as Dino than real Megatron," Grimlock
said. "Me much better Dino than him."
"Rattrap stupid," Slag said. "Me eat him."
"Can't, he in TV," Sludge said. "You stupid."
"Dumb velo-verla-eva-enveloraptor-thing stole our name!" Snarl
complained. "What we do?"
Grimlock scratched his head. "What humans do when someone steal stuff?"
"Sue," Swoop said helpfully. "We sue?"
All complaints were forgotten as Optimus Primal unfolded a massive
amount of weaponry on the screen, yelling "All right! WHO WANTS SOME?!"
The Dinobots stared at the screen, jaws dropping. "Cool!" Sludge
finally declared.
"Me Grimlock wish Prime do that..."
