I dunno, I have to lay some of the blame on Rick for being so wishy-washy
half the time he was around Minmei. After all, it only took 4.8 million
Zentraedi ships to make Rick confess his feelings, and by that time,
someone
else had a firm place in his heart...
That may be true, but you can't deny that she didn't make things easier for
him. She _had_ to know he was in love with her, and she never said 'no'--or
'yes'.
Well, I also used to be a Lisa fan, but now I'm a completely-unbiased
fanfic
writer.

Also, just to see how Morgan reacts, my opinion of Kyle is most likely

it, Ryo Sanada has it, Keith (from Voltron, remember?) has it, Tuxedo

Morgen, Tux-boy don't have no hero hair. Outta all the people you listed,
Mamoru has the most normal hair 'o them all...
I hadn't noticed that, but it's true. He doesn't even have the hair--he
CAN'T be a hero. ^_^
But, to say the truth, Tuxy doesn't strike me as a big hero. Maybe in
your
fic, and I haven't read the manga, but in the anime...
Tux-boy, a big hero in Morgen's fic? Well, he got lucky in a few
chapters,
but he's still the same old punching bag, which isn't saying much....
I disagree. Come on! He fought _WITHOUT MAGICAL POWERS_ in the Pit against
dozens of youmas. I want to see one of the Senshi doing that.
He rarely wins a fight by his own, hides behind the far more powerful
Senshi, and makes corny speechs. Is he a hero? Umm...
No, he's a disgrace to all superheroes. ^_^

Um, I don't know about this. I don't think the Zentraedi long-range scanners
would be powerful enough to distinguish a single, tiny Micronian in the
middle of a war zone. Besides, Bretai was focusing his attention in the
SDF-1.
Now that I think about, I wonder how he'll react at seeing
Ranma perform ki blasts like Kyle did in Little White Dragon, but that's a
bit down the road though...

Well, then you HAVE to be Ranma's fan. He's taking on the pods with his
fists... and no mecha! THAT takes guts--and lots of skill (or a couple of
Flowers of Life, but that's entirely another matter ^_^).

and good catch on the colour change of that Guardian! It was orange and
white in the anime, but McKinney's books do refer to it as being brown
and
white.
Where? I remember red and brown, and orange and brown, but not white and
brown for the VT-1D. Remember, brown and white are the redshirts of
Robotech.
I really don't remember the initial episodes of the anime, so I'm using
McKinney's novels as a guide. And there, the Battloid is brown and white.
He practically flew towards him, his feet melting the asphalt
with each
step. A bright white aura emerged from his body, but Ranma didn't
notice.

I believe no one noticed, but I was infering that Ranma had gone berserk for
a moment, and used his... other powers. So that white aura may not be formed
with Ki...
I can't blame you, even when I think that the original Dragonball is much
better than Z.
I dunno, I just saw more of Son Goku vs Kid Buu today and like I told my
friend, the more I see of this series (even though I have seen a good 73%
of
it....) the more I continue to like it.
Um, DB Z is fights and more fights, with too little comedy (IMO, the element
that made DB so refreshing). Almost the exact opposite of the original
Dragonball.
Buzzsaw is one word, I believe. Like hacksaw or jigsaw.
Umm, I'm not sure. I've checked, and, while 'buzzsaw' isn't in the
dictionary, 'buzz saw' is. Will check again, though.
It's buzz saw, as that's how I see it in the novel at this moment. I

Morgan was thinking of the Decepticon 'Buzzsaw'.

I shudder to
imagine how this man plans to pair Rick and Minmei together : he DID
study
at the Saotome / Tendo school of making people fall in love, right? My
one
condolence is that he is almost doomed to fail. Although, it should be
funny
watching him try.

That, and aside from this fic, I am one of those who think Rick and
Minmei's
relationship would have been far different if they were rescued at least 5
minutes later while they were trapped somewhere in the SDF-1. Despite
what
Mckinney said, in the anime Rick and Minmei came close to actually kissing
before they were nearly flattened. They missed it by milliseconds, and in
those milliseconds, there relationship never got around to what it could
have been.
Maybe, and maybe not. Rick kissed her before the final battle against the
Zentraedi, but when everything was over, they weren't that much closer.
If we're going by McKinney, then Rick's about 18, IIRC, as is Max.
Right.
Then again, the RDF signed up Max
Sterling, and those blue glasses of his are prescription, so I guess
maybe it doesn't matter.
And there damn lucky they did sign him.
Yep, he was an ACE.
Anyway, a great story, with good grammar and characterisation. As
always,
you've managed to recap important events without boring people who've
already seen them, and finished on a cliffhanger that has me, for one,
wanting more. Kudos!
