Keiichi finished putting on a clean pair of jeans and a clean T-shirt.
The candles and fancy silverware were bugging him somewhat. What was
the occasion? Why weren't there more than two sets of place setting
out on the table?
He put his slippers on and walked back down to the tea room.
*That's funny. the door's closed again.*
Keiichi knocked on the door.
"Come on in, Keiichi-san!" came Belldandy's voice through the door.
Keiichi slid the door open.
His jaw dropped.
Belldandy was wearing a little black dress that hugged her body in just
the right places. It was nothing like the normal frilly, long dresses
that Belldandy usually liked wearing.
Keiichi's nose started to itch as his eyes wandered from Belldandy's
smiling face down the rest of her body. He always knew, in a detached
manner, how beautiful she was physically, but never really paid that
much attention to that -- her wonderful personality and the aura of
sanctity that Belldandy seemed to exude had always kept his mind from
wandering further. He had always thought of Urd as the one who was the
most physically mature of the three sisters, but right now, he wasn't
so sure anymore.
Keiichi quickly snapped his gaze back at Belldandy's face to keep his
nose from hemorrhaging blood. He looked closely at Belldandy's face to
make sure that she wasn't under some wayward spell or enchantment.
"Oh, Keiichi, are you okay?" said Belldandy as she stood up and moved
toward him to feel his forehead.
Keiichi relaxed visibly. This was definitely the Belldandy that he
knew and loved. His subconscious started to scream warnings at him
that something was amiss, but his latent libido quickly silenced
subconscious with judicious use of a sledgehammer.
"Don't worry Bell-chan! I'm, uh, fine. It was just a long day of hard
work." Keiichi stammered.
"Hmm. Let's see if we can make it a long night of working hard then,"
chuckled Belldandy behind a raised hand.
Keiichi stood stone still and blinked at that comment. A full blown
blush was now turning his face cherry red.
"Ah, Bell-chan, can you, uh, repeat that again?"
Belldandy gave Keiichi a very mischievous smile that quickly turned
into the grin that always graced his dreams.
"We need to speak about some very important things, Keiichi-san. There
are some issues that need to be dealt with tonight. Now, let's eat,
alright?"
Keiichi nodded absently at this. His brain was still on a happiness
high from the smile she had given him. He always lost it whenever she
smiled like that. Belldandy gently guided him toward his cushion and
place setting.
Keiichi noted that her flawless fingers felt smooth and warm wrapped
about his arm. It sent electric shocks through his body. He woke up
from his reverie and sat down at his place.

"Where do you want to go with me, Keiichi-san?"
"Uh, maybe Rome, or Hawaii."
"No, silly! Not _where_ do you want to go physically. Where do you
want our relationship to go?"
Keiichi looked somewhat bashful.
"I don't know. I never had any girlfriends before, and, uh, Tamiya and
Ootaki aren't really the best advisors for my love life."
Belldandy closed her eyes for a second.
