I'm aware of your justifiable conviction that girl-type Ranma has black
hair... *brown* eyes? Come on, can't you just leave Ranma with blue
eyes? There are blue-eyed, black-haired Japanese, you know. They are
rare, but they exist. Either that, or you could just not mention the
color of his eyes at all.
Both the color references were parts that I filled in at the last
moment. The hair thing was intended as an in-joke for people who've had
to listen to me rant on the subject; I figured the reference in the fic
would amuse some readers and annoy others -- a win-win situation for me.
:) As for the eye-color one, it went something like "Hmmm... what do
Ranma's eyes look like? Um, they're brown, I guess."
I know, it's probably just me, but I found it
a bit jarring. ^_^;
Maybe it is, but that's all right, we aim to please. ^_^ Consider the
eye color reference removed.
