Ranma Quest, Space Ranma?
May 23rd, 1996: Tendo Dojo

The trip through the vortex was like every other like going down a tube
with rocks. I'm glad I happen to be wearing armor every time I do. With a
thump I landed heavily in the street in front of the main entrance. As I
looked up, my HUD popped up two Scuzzbots.
"Damn!"
They had just knocked on the main entrance door. They also didn't notice me.
Kasumi opened the door. Switching my sidearm to burst fire I opened fire.

'knock knock'
"Oh, I wonder who that is?" Kasumi asked. It was a typical day at the dojo.
Well, a quieter than usual day. Genma and Soun were battling out over a game
of Go. That is to say both of them were cheating. Ranma was going through a
kata in the backyard beside the Koi pond. Nabiki had gone out earlier. Akane
was in her room doing homework.
Kasumi opened the door to the two nice men who were suddenly being shot at.

My shooting had attracted the attention of both the scuzzbots. A few lucky
shots and one went down. The other one turned and began to run towards me.
The bot pulled out a weapon and began shooting. I decided a short retreat
was in order. Holstering my gun, I leapt for the rooftops and a few short
minutes had lost the Scuzzbot. Doubling back to the Dojo I hoped I'd make it
back there first.

Back at the dojo the Tendo's and Saotome's were in an uproar. Kasumi seemed
to be unhurt and was currently admiring the holes the gun had put in the
wall behind the fallen man. It was when Soun examined the man that he
discovered something wrong. The man wasn't human.
It was then that Kasumi was questioned.
"The two nice men were asking about Ranma. I was about to tell them that he
was in the back when the lady began shooting."
The results of this were somewhat predictable. Soun had somehow jammed all
the facts together and figure out a picture. "WAAAH. My eldest daughter was
almost abducted by Aliens."
Now one can say that the reasoning of the Tendo family was slightly screwy
and they'd probably be correct.

I hoped I had made it back in time. Leaping over the back wall of the
compound I managed to crash into someone in midair. It was probably because
of a certain person's jusenkyo curse. It was then that Akane happened to
conviently wander by. This I attributed to fate.
Akane reacted as usual, probably due to one many of Ranma's fiancees ending
up with him in 'hot' water.
"Ranma NO BAKA!"
This I couldn't stand, well ok, sit for. In one smooth motion I pulled my
sidearm out and placed in a place Akane would notice. Muzzle first right
between her eyes. She of course stopped midstep.
"Now, I am NOT a fiancee of Ranma's, Akane. Got it?"
She simply nodded. Thus satisfied I twirled the gun on my finger and then
holstered it. Ranma had decided that since that I wasn't a fiancee and that
only left one option slid into a fighting stance behind me.
Turning I spoke. "Ranma I'm not here to fight you either. Sheesh the family
is cursed, I knew it was."

Ranma was just beginning one of his arial kata's when figure leaped over
the back wall. Fate being what it was contrived so that a master martial
artist even though suprised was able to dodge right into the path of the
decending figure. Jusenkyo provided a slight twist to the right so that the
curse was activated. This left a pair of wet girls. What suprised Ranma was
as Akane prepared to mallet him into LEO
the girl moved with amazing speed and also produced a gun. This alarmed
Ranma since from his experience the only people with guns were military or
criminals. Relaxing as the girl declared to Akane the fact that she wasn't a
fiancee of his. This meant that she was here to kill or fight him. That he
could deal with.

"I do not have time to deal with this." In a smooth motion I drew my sidearm
again and aimed it at the wall. Firing once, instead of blowing a hole in
matter, I blew a wormhole in time.
"Get in now!" Dumbfounded looks.
"Get in before I shoot you both!"
Ranma shifted to protect Akane. With the quickness unparalleled by only
some family members of mine. I managed to snag both of them and drag them
through the wormhole. With that it vanished.

May 23rd, 2096: Tendo Dojo
The wormhole opened and spit the three travellers out. The landing was as
usual, rough.
"Welcome to 2096, Ranma and Akane."
