Okay so here's an IDEA I had for a Ranma FanFic.  What Im looking for is some basic C&C and maybe a co-author or two.

     Ranma and Akane have formalized thier engagement but are waiting until Akane finishes college to get married.  Ranma later attended a smaller two-year college and will be re-opening the dojo for lessons just after thier marriage.  Ranma got a degree in Phys Ed. and Akane is working hard to get a Teaching Degree.
     Ukyuo has admitted defeat (so to speak) and she and Ranma now have a friendship that could become stonger over time.  She attended a two year college and got a Business degree.  Ucchan's has been very succsessful and she has traveled to Osaka ;leaving her father in charge of the Nerima shop; to open another branch.
     Mousse and Ryoga have become somthing of an odd-couple.  Ryoga helps act as Mousse's eyes but Mousse keeps Ryoga on track.  So far they seem to get along pretty well.  Ryoga just couldn't stand to be with Akari ship loved him for his pig form and that just wasn't right.  As for Mousse well he travels in hopes of letting go of Shampoo.  The duo are usually gone for 9 months and back for three. Each time they have traveled to a different country.
     Shampoo is stubborn.  She simply will not give up on Ranma. She stops by whenever Ranma might be around.  Kodachi too fancies herself as a better over Akane and she often fights with Shampoo if they come near each other.  Both have started to pay Kasumi for any damages rendered.
     Kasumi is content but is beggining to get tired of Shampoo and Kodachi.  She also feels ready to start a relationship with someone, the good Doctor mabey?  Nadoka has learned of Ranma's curse and that of her husband's and has finally heard the tales of thier adventures.  Nadoka and Genma took a trip along the same route both to revitalize thier marriage and to make Genma repent for his sins. Neither have changed much but they are a little softer around each other.
     Nabiki finished college a year ago and spent some time in America learning western business from some of the best.  She has returned to start her own stock brokerage in Tokyo.
     Kuno started a Kempo school and has been rather succsessful.

     I hope that after iget get the story going I can throw this little plot twist in.  Some one (either Kasumi or Ukyou) needs a husband who is impedent.

Presumably you mean "impotent" here. :)

  They ask Ranma for help.  He and Akane agree and Ranma "donates" at a nearby clinic.  All goes well until Shampoo gets pregnant and Kodachi is too!  Both claim Ranma as the father!  I thought this could be interesting  For one thing its a very desperate move on the ex-fiances part.  For another I think Ranma has too much honor for him to abandon the children.


Well thats it thats my idea.
Please give good C&C and please if you wish to co-author let me know I dont think I can do this on my own!

The biggest problem with this is ... that there's no story.  You've
described a SITUATION, a kind of where-things-are-at-a-few-years-later, but
now you need an interesting STORY to set in this scenario.

If you're planning to write the story of how this situation came about --
I'd suggest not bothering.  It's nothing new.  However, if you're planning
to write a story that uses this situation as a backdrop, then by all means
go for it.  There are some problems with it (for example, Akari was
interested in Ryoga _before_ she found out about his curse) but on the
whole it's not too unreasonable an extrapolation.

The sperm-theft and unexpected pregnancy is the only actual plot you
mention in your outline.  Okay, that's a beginning.  It's been done
before. but not too often and there's room for more.  What _you_ need is
more plot.  What is your story about?  Where does it begin?  Is it just
the sperm-theft thing, or are you wanting to show a wider tapestry?  If
so, you need _other_ plots to interweave with the first.

To be honest, I think you've approached this from the wrong direction.
Build your story _first_, and then construct the scenario it's going to
fit in.  This may require adjusting the story a little (since your
scenario should be a credible extrapolation of the canon) but I think
it's usually easier this way.
