Another all nighter, capped off with early morning C&C. Oh yeah, fic
spoilers for all reviewed fics.

Comments: This is an excellent fic, with great use of prose for both
descriptive and stylistic effect. The dialogue and characters were dead
on and the concept is appropriate if a little bizarre. I'm not exactly
clear as to what Shinji has become, though I know its some sort of
vampire. The Epilogue is a little vague, slightly cliched and entirely
appropriate. All in all, another excellent Eva fic from one of the the
best Eva writers on the FFML. Hightly recommended.

Comments: I really enjoyed this one, because it had such a great style
to it. The prose is great, helping the first part suck you in, and Eva
elseworlds are (as COAEG is demonstrating, but more on that later)
really fun. The quasi-reversal of Asuka and Shinji's character is
interesting, though Shinji as Superman is a really strange concept. Rei
as Wonder Woman is really going to be interesting. I'm hoping this will
become a series on a par with COAEG; if it lives up to its potential it
certainly will be.
Highly recommended.

Re:Subject: [FFML] [Ranma][Fanfic] For a Dying Friend

Comments: Let me start by saying I'm not one for Rannma fanfiction. I
think there's been plenty of it done and for the most part current
series are covering old ground. Not all of them, mind you, but for there
are series which deserve fic attention at the expense of all the Rannma
fics. Having said that, I think I'm a happier person after reading this
fic. Prose, characterization and plot are all spotless, as one would
expect from the great Gary Kleppe. I agree with most of the comments
previously posted, but I'd like to add that I found this one of the best
Rannma fics I've ever read. An excellent fic on all levels, which really
manages to work very effectively. Highly recommended.

Comments: This series is still my favorite. Touji is perfectly captured
(he's my favorite male character in Eva) and his interactions with Asuka
are hilarious. This part has the usual impeccable mechanics, a touching
scene between Maya and Ritsuko (I'm sure Chris Davies is pissed) and the
promise of more really fucked up shit in the coming chapters. That's
right, my guess is COAEG's going to get really dark again, but then we
all knew that already. Highly recommended.
Phhew, time for bed,
