Why?  Duo would've killed Heero right where he stood, and then where would the story be?  You do remember that the only reason he failed was because Duo shot him, right?

Then the Sanc Kingdom would fall completely into ruin, Zechs would get Supremely Pissed, and Romefeller would still be engaged in a huge war with White Fang that would destroy Earth and the Colonies.
