My roommate and I(not that way hentai)who have both
been into fan fiction for quite a while(him 5 years
and me a little before the start of RAAC)started
talking about fics. after a while of chating about our
favorite fics and stuff(plus one too many jello
shooters). We started trying to figure out what was
the base of a good series for fic writing. After about
a hour of this we figured out that if it follows these
three rules its going to be a good series for fic
writing.
1) The series must be finished(movies, sequels, and
things like that don't count).
2)The ending must have had a few loose ends not tied
up.
3)It must have (a good) one of each of the following
types. Fantasy(or Sci-Fi if its a fantasy series),
Dark, Pregnancy, and Lemon.
As strange as it sound it does check out. Lets look at
ranma the biggest name in fan fiction right now.
1)It ended in 96 when ranma fics really started to
take off.
2) Takahashi-sensai told us what would happen just not
how.
3) All these series were started in 96-97 like I said
when it really started to take off. Waters Under
Earth, I'll Meet By Starlight, The Insanity Continues,
Nibun No Ichi.
