Look to manga #1, around page 51,52. This is
exactly how they reacted. This
might be a Genma-bashing fic, but it's not going to
be because Kasumi was
assertive, or Nabiki outraged.

That is what I thought....besides....there is a lot of
Genma bashing in the manga...and if you think about it
Genma is at the root of a large number of Ranmaverse
problems....I would suggest pressing that he doesn't
mean to be a cruel unfeeling bastard and that his
intentions are good....but you know about the road to
hell
