Of course if you were _really_ using the non-romance version of King
Arthur, there would be no Launcelot.

Of course Launcelot raises an interesting question.  Launcelot was,
after all, really good.  Maybe not as good as he thought he was and kind
of crazy,  but since he was created by the French troubadors for a
French audience, Lance was naturally a top contender for the "best
knight of the Round Table" (and he gets the girl).  Will this narrow the
gap in competence between Ranma and Kuno?
