THIS was what had me stuck for the loooongest time.  I wanted Ranma to use a trick of some sort.  Then I figured, why be original?  I'm stealing Takahashi's characters as it is, might as well steal a snippet of story line as well.

Nodoka took a deep breath.  "Ranma and Ataru were not switched at birth."

This ending was planned since day one. In UY, in the comic story lines, things always end up crazier than they started, without a real resolution.  That was my goal here as well.
