Actually, I did sort of think that, DB. ^_^

The three-foot tall Elder skipped away, twirling her staff like
a band leader's baton, enjoying her latest opportunity to irritate
her rival.
Nice imagery with the baton bit. I like it.
Thanks. I was trying for that.
Gos wanted to facefault, but this gaijin body didn't seem to know
quite how to do it.
Heh.
A little in-joke here, as you don't see Americans face-fault
but you do actually see Japanese do this in real life. (I believe
that Jamie mentioned seeing it while his sub was in Japan..)
"Can I get some hot water first, Father? I think Mother would feel

And get rid of any nasty incestuous feelings that might have developed.
All together now... "EWWWWWWWW!"
Then a _male_ scream of horror erupted from the knot of women
attempting to do their solemn duty to punish all perverts. The crowd
retreated to reveal a short elderly woman grinning evilly at a
desperately-trying-to-escape Norton South.
Heh. Nice name.
Thanks. I was looking for something punny.
"Still training that Remo kid, last I heard."
Heh. don't see much Destroyer stuff.
Well, the Chuin/Cologne comparisons seemed so OBVIOUS.
Somewhere in Metropolis, New York, a thin bald man with green eyes
was bouncing happily on his mattress.
Can't wait to see who this is.
A fist pounded fiercely on the wall of his cheap apartment.
"Dammit, Irwin, it's two friggin' am in the morning! SHUT THE F*** UP
AND GO BACK TO SLEEP!"
Doesn't ring any bells.
"Heh. That Mr. Kent. Whatta wild man."
Now I'm really curious.
Very nice work. Despite the number of new characters, they are each well
enough defined that it's easy to keep track of them. Things seem to be
moving along at a good pace, especially with an arch-villain for Gos. Story
flow is smooth and I didn't detect any real grammar errors.
Look forward to seeing more.

Well, a LOT of people have been asking this question, and
as I seem to write ALMOST as slowly as Zen, I've decided to open
this little plot point ahead of time for those who have no idea
who/what Irwin Schwab is.
A sort of replacement annoyance for Superman, Irwin Schwab,
aka Ambush Bug was intended to substitute for Myxlepix (or however
you spell the little guy's name).
As for how WEIRD Ambush Bug can be? Here's his resume straight
from DC Comics.. (credit for this goes to a Mr. McQuaid, who wrote
this synopsis for a review of the DC mega-comic "Kingdom Come")
<snip>
Ambush Bug! Yay! Ambush Bug's story begins on the planet
Schwab, a world of snappy dressers whose renowned best-dressed
man, Brum-El, broke a galactic chain letter and supposedly doomed
his planet (the last person to do so was, reportedly, Jor-El of
Krypton). Resolving to save his beloved wardrobe, Brum-El rocketed
it into space and breathed a sigh of relief as he awaited Armageddon
with his wife Larda and son Mon-Grel (there was no room in the rocket
for them AND the wardrobe--priorities, you understand). Schwab,
surprisingly, did not explode, and Brum-El was left a broken (and
naked) man.
Meanwhile, the wardrobe rocket was smooshed by a giant
radioactive space spider, sending the maimed craft off-course to
Earth, where it landed on an apartment building roof and trashed
the TV antenna of one Irwin Schwab, who claims to have been raised
by his now defunct television set. Irwin ventured onto the roof and
discovered the rocket's sole surviving contents: a green, antennaed
body suit capable of teleportation, and a single orphaned sock.
Irwin would adopt the suit as his own and use it to become the public
nuisance and sometime super-hero Ambush Bug. (The sock, incidentally,
achieved sentience, grew embittered by the loss of its mate and
became Ambush Bug's greatest enemy: Argh! Yle.) Ambush Bug has since
dedicated his life to annoying Superman, breaking all the comic book
rules he knows and even fighting crime, aided only by his loyal
sidekick Cheeks, the Toy Wonder (a discarded stuffed doll that
Ambush Bug adopted as his ward). No sweeping DC Universe saga would
be complete without Ambush Bug!

Heh. And people have the audacity to claim that *I* am
strange..
