Part 1
[Deep within the fog filled forest of Ryugenzawa, silence fills
the normally noisy air. The silence is broken by the sound of bubbling
water. The scene switches to the inside of a dark cave where a spring
bubbles up from the ground. A gyser of water shoots up from the spring.
The scene switches to the out side of the cave. The sound of hidious
laughter can be heard.]
[A small cottage within the forest. We see a boy dressed in blue
holding a broom, kneeling down near the side of the cottage beside a small
tombstone that has "Grandfather" engraved on it.]
Shinnosuke: I'm sorry my visit has to be cut short grandfather but the
forest grows silent. Something is wrong, it needs me.
[The boy leaps to his feet and runs into the forest. He trudges through
the fog until a noise catches his ear. He stops and tilts his head,
listening. Silence. He begins to walk again until he hears the same
noise.]
Shinnosuke: Who's there?
Voice: The one who holds the key to your dreams.
Shinnosuke: Show yourself!
Voice: I cannot do that. Not yet. Not until I can trust you.
Shinnosuke: Who are you?
Voice: I have many names young one.
Shinnosuke: What do you want from me?
Voice: A small favor. If you agree to help me I shall fix your little
problem.
Shinnosuke: What problem? And what type of favor?
Voice: Full of questions. *Laughs seductively* Well I know about your
little memory problem. I can relieve you of that.. for a price.
Shinnosuke: I'll accept, however you must show yourself first.
Voice: Agreed.
[A figure steps from the fog, dressed entirely in black. The figure
appears to be a woman with long hair. As she gets closer her wings and
tail can be seen, along with small horns protruding from her temples. Her
skin is tinted a light red, other than those attributes, she is stunningly
beautiful.]
Devil: Will you help me?
Shinnosuke: *Stares into the devils pleading eyes.* Y-yes.
Devil: *Grins wickedly* Wonderful, then you will have your memory. In my
restoration, you will also regain those memories you have lost.
[The woman slowly walks up to Shinnosuke and puts her hands on his
shoulders. She stand on the balls of her feet and kisses him on the
forehead. Shinnosuke's eyes shoot open as his mind is flooded by his lost
memories. The devil smiles slightly and steps back as he falls to his
knees grabbing his head.]
Shinnosuke: *Muttering* Akane.. I love you.
Devil: Now for your part of the deal.. What is your name boy?
Shinnosuke: *Stands up* Shinnosuke.
Devil: All right then. Shinnosuke, I require your services.
[Shinnosuke stiffens and stares forward unblinking. The devil raises her
left hand and snaps her fingers, becoming a plume of purple smoke. The
smoke encircles Shinnosuke and then enters his ears. His eyes close
tightly as the last of the smoke enters his body. He shakes his head
violently then his eyes snap open.. his eyes glow red, and he smiles
wickedly then begins to laugh.]
Shinnosuke: Akane Tendo eh? You services will be more useful then I
thought. *Yelling* Prepare to meet your end Tendo's!
[The scene switches to another part of the forest where a familiar looking
boy stumbles through the fog waring black pants and a yellow shirt. He
leans against a tree and sighs.]
Ryoga: Where on Earth am I now?!?
[Ryoga tenses as he notices he is being watched. He spins his head around
to see Shinnosuke walking towards him.]
Ryoga: I remember you.. This must be Ryugenzawa.
Shinnosuke: Yes it is. Hello again pig boy.
Ryoga: Pig boy?!? You jerk, how dare you call me that.. wait a minute..
I thought you had a bad memory.
Shinnosuke: He did, until he met me.
Ryoga: What the hell are you talking about?
Shinnosuke: Allow me to show you.
[Shinnosuke drops to his knees and becomes engulfed by a cloud of purple
smoke. The smoke wisps around in a circle for a while before solidifying
into a woman. Ryoga stares in shock.]
Ryoga: W.. what?
[As Shinnosuke begins to regain consciousness, the Devil reaches into her
pocket and pulls out some purple dust then blows it into his eyes. He
falls limply to the ground in a deep sleep.]
Ryoga: Y.. you ki.. killed him!
Devil: No, he will awaken soon enough. Now as to why he remembers you, I
restored his memory, and gave him a stronger one.
Ryoga: H.. how?
Devil: Its rather easy actually. I can help you with your little problems
too.
Ryoga: In exchange for what?
Devil: Well in exchange, all I ask is to be able to use your body until I
finish my quest. It will take no more than a month.
Ryoga: And you will cure me of my curse?
Devil: Yes, completely. And I'll even give you some direction sense as a
bonus. *Smiles seductively*
Ryoga: I consent..
Devil: Wonderful!
[The devil walks to Ryoga and kisses him on the forehead. His nose
instantly begins to bleed. He falls to his knees as the curse is lifted
from his body.. and a sense of direction takes root in his brain.]
Ryoga: *Muttering* Akane, I will be a whole man for you.
Devil: Akane? This is turning out to be my lucky day. I shall have my
revenge for the years I've spent stuck in this forest!
[The devil grins and snaps her finger, turning into the cloud of smoke. It
engulfs Ryoga and seeps into his body through his ears. Ryoga's eyes pop
open, revealing a shade of red. He grins and stands up, dusting himself
off. He picks up the still unconscious Shinnosuke and carries him
piggy-back style through the woods.]
Ryoga: Perhaps you shall be useful with your ties to this Akane Tendo. On
to Nerima!
[As Ryoga leaps through the woods, a small figure jumps down from a tree.
The figure watches Ryoga's back disappear on the horizon. The figure steps
into the light, revealing himself as Happosai.]
Happosai: I've really done it this time. Oh well, this will be great
training for Ranma. Besides, she is one pretty lady. *Hentai grin* Ah
well, no sense wasting the night. Off to work.
[He ties a black cloth around his head and then bounds off towards the
closest village.]

Part 2
[Nerima. Ukyou steps outside of Ucchan's and hangs out her curtain,
opening for the new day. She is about to re-enter her shop when she
notices a familiar looking yellow blur out of the corner of her eye. She
turns and waves.]
Ukyou: Ryoga! Hi sugar! Umm who's that on your back?
Ryoga: (Devils voice thinking) Ukyou huh? Perhaps she can be useful too.
(Ryoga's voice) Hey Ukyou, can we talk?
Ukyou: Sure Ryoga-honey. What's eating ya?
Ryoga: Well lets go inside so we can talk privately.
[Ukyou raises an eyebrow then nods. The two enter Ucchan's and she places
the "Closed" sign out then slides the door shut.]
Ukyou: So how'd you find your way back here this time?
Ryoga: That's just what I want to talk to you about. Allow me to
demonstrate.
[Ryoga sets Shinnosuke down and walks out the door, then walks back in.]
Ukyou: You didn't get lost..
Ryoga: Exactly.
Ukyou: Okay, who are you, and what have you done with Ryoga.
Ryoga: Well, aren't we perseptive. I am borrowing his form for the moment,
and in exchange, he has a curse removed, and gains direction sense.
Ukyou: Why use him? And who is the other guy lying over there drooling on
my clean floor?
Ryoga: Well let me release this form, then I will explain.
[Ryoga collapses to his knees and is engulfed in purple smoke. The form
swirls then solidifys into the devils true form.]
Ukyou: Kami-sama..
[The devil cringes at those words.]
Devil: Please don't say that.
[The devil pulls some purple dust from her pocked then blows it into
Ryoga's eyes.]
Ukyou: Why did you do that?
Devil: He will wake soon, but now I need to talk to you in private.
Ukyou: Why can't he be awake?
Devil: Well you see, when not possessed, he forgets about me. He just knows
some how he has direction sense and is curse free. He just doesn't know
how. If he see's me he may begin to piece things together. That is not in my
best interests.
Ukyou: Okay, but what do you even need him for?
Devil: Well you see Ukyou, I have a little score to settle. I was
imprisoned centuries ago by a Tendo take my revenge by being sure the
Tendo clan cannot be continued. The boy on the floor was going to be a form
to disguise myself in, until I ran into Ryoga here. He knew the boy before
hand, and noticed something was different. Instead of killing him, I decided
to make use of him. As it would turn out he knew the Tendo's.
Ukyou: How do you know my name anyway, and why keep the other boy around?
Devil: When in the body of the person, I know all that they know. And I'm
keeping him here in case I need his form to get close to some one.
Ukyou: Why tell me this?
Devil: Because I want to make a deal with you Ukyou.
[Ukyou wields her spatula.]
Ukyou: I will do no such thing. The Tendo's have hurt no one.
Devil: Not so fast girly. I know that one particular Tendo holds the heart
of the one you love.
[Ukyou's shoulders slump.]
Devil: Ranma isn't it?
Ukyou: Yes..
Devil: Well you see, I only have to kill the male Tendo's, and the females
who aren't married, or have kept the Tendo name. If you help me, I will make
sure that Akane dies before Ranma can marry her to save her.
Ukyou: But.. Akane is my friend. I will do no such thing! Get out of here,
now.
Devil: Ukyou, Ukyou, Ukyou. You aren't understanding me are you. Now that
I've spilled my little heart to you, you either join me and get your
Ranma, or you die.
Ukyou: You, you bitch..
Devil: Oh now that really hurts.. Come on dear. I don't have all day.
Ukyou: You won't take me with out a fight.
[Ukyou throws a handful of mini-spatulas at the devil, who quickly snaps
her fingers turning into smoke. The spatulas fly through the smoke and
embed themselves in the wall. The smoke re-solidifys]
Devil: Now now, you'll have to do way better than that.
[Ukyou hangs her head, she can't fight something that turns into smoke
with the drop of a hat. At least not alone.]
Ukyou: Can you give me some time to think this over?
[The devil laughs.]
Devil: Whats to think girl? Death or siding with me. It will be only a
little while, until the Tendo clan is gone. Then you will be back to
normal and won't remember a thing other than you're rid of your
competition.
Ukyou: Akane is my friend. It's a lot to think about. Just give me some
time. I'll be upstairs.
Devil: you have five minutes then I am coming up.
[Ukyou climbs the stairs to her room. She sits on the bed and stairs a the
mirror.]
Ukyou: (thinking) What good will joining her do for me. If she uses my
body to kill Akane or even her father, Ranma would never forgive me. Even
if I was possessed. Dammit. What am I going to do.
[Ukyou notices a pad of paper and a pen on her desk. She quickly writes a
note and folds it, then writes on the front, "Ukyou, read this." She
quickly stuffs it under her bed sheets then heads back down stairs.]
Devil: Back so soon?
Ukyou: I, I don't want to die.. I will join you.
Devil: I knew you'd see it my way. I will be back for you soon, but as a
parting gift, I must erase your memory.
[The devil kisses Ukyou on the forehead, erasing her knowledge of the
pact. The devil pulls out some purple dust and blows it in Ukyou's eyes.
She falls to her knees and slumps over and sleeps. The devil walks over to
the two sleeping boys and and wakes Shinnosuke.]
Shinnosuke: Where am I?
[Shinnosuke opens his eyes and finds himself engulfed in purple smoke. His
body goes stiff as the smoke enters his body. His eyes shine red as he
stands himself up.]
Shinnosuke: (devils voice thinking) Time to have a little fun.
[Shinnosuke exits Ucchan's and walks off into Nerima.]
Part 3
[Shinnosuke wanders down the streets of Nerima. He see's a small shop with
a large sign that reads Nekohanten. He enters the cafe and looks around. A
purpleish haired girl bounces out to great him.]
Shampoo: Nihao, how can Shampoo help you?
Shinnosuke: I'm looking for the Tendo's, can you tell me where they are?
Shampoo: Yes, they not too far from here. Why you want Tendo's?
Shinnosuke: I have a little score to settle. What can you tell me about
them?
Shampoo: Airen live with them.
Shinnosuke: Your husband?
Shampoo: Ranma beat Shampoo, so we will be married. Why you ask so many
questions?
Shinnosuke: Ahh, an Amazon.. But do you not know that the one named Akane
holds your "Airen"'s heart?
[Shampoo hangs her head.]
Shampoo: Shampoo make much better wife for Ranma. Much better than violent
pervert girl.
Shinnosuke: Perhaps we could help each other out.
Shampoo: What you talking about?
Shinnosuke: How about we make a deal, you help me settle the score with
the Tendo's and I'll be sure Akane is dealt with properly.
Shampoo: I no want to kill anyone. Beside, Shampoo very busy while
Great-Grandmother out of town.
Shinnosuke: What if I promise that I won't kill her?
[Shampoo stands silently for a few moments before she nods her head.]
Shampoo: Is deal.
[Shinnosuke grins wickedly before dropping to his knees and becoming
surrounded by purple smoke. Shampoo steps back knocking over a cage
holding Mousse in duck form. The cage smashes open on impact. The purple
smoke wisps around Shampoo and enters her ears. Mousse quacks loudly then
flies out the door and lands on a near by street light.]
Shampoo: (Devil's voice thinking) This is becoming even better than I
thought.
[Shampoo turns to leave then remembers Shinnosuke. She turns to see him
trying to stand himself up.]
Shinnosuke: Where am I?
Shampoo: I won't be needing you anymore.
[Shampoo picks Shinnosuke up by his shoulders and drags him outside, then
around to the side of the Nekohanten. She wields her bonbori and delivers
blow after blow to his head. Soon his face is a barely recognizable mass
of blood. Shampoo shakes the blood from her bonbori and walks back into
the Nekohanten. Mousse nearly falls of his perch before he remembers he
can fly. He takes off and heads towards the closest place he can find..
Ucchan's.]
Voice: D.. did I just see what I thought I did?
Voice Two: If you seen what I did, then yeah.. we better go warn Ranma.
[Two boys run side by side away from the Nekohanten towards the Tendo
training hall.]

[Shampoo stands over a stove preparing some ramen, humming to herself. She
puts the finishing touches on the bowls then places them in her delivery
box. She picks up the box then heads outside to get her bike, then
remembers the body.]
Shampoo: Well I guess I can't just leave this here.
[She drags the body completely behind the cafe, then places it inside the
large dumpster. She picks up her ramen then climbs on her bike and heads
off to make her delivery.]
[Tendo residence. Everyone is sitting around the table impatiently. Ranma
breaks the silence.]
Ranma: What is taking Kasumi so long. She left for the market over an hour
ago. I'm starvin'
Akane: Shut up Ranma, you're always hungry. She has only been gone twenty
minutes.
Ranma: Well it feels like an hour.
Akane: Whatever.
Ranma: (Muttering) Kawaiikune..
[Akane pulls out her mallet and slams it over Ranma's head. Nabiki perks
up.]
Nabiki: Did you hear that?
Soun: It was only Akane flirting with Ranma.
Akane: What did you say?
Nabiki: Not that daddy, some one is at the door.
Akane: I'll get it.
[Akane stands and walks to the door. She slides it open and steps back
after seeing who is there. She furrows her brow.]
Akane: Ranma! It's for you.
Shampoo: Actually, I've brought you guys some food.
[Akane tilts her head looking perplexed.]
Akane: Umm, when did your Japanese get so good?
Shampoo: (devil's voice thinking) Uh oh.. (Shampoo) What you talking
bout? Want food or not?
[Shampoo walks past Akane, who is standing there scratching her head. She
shrugs and turns to close the door when Hiroshi and Daisuke nearly run her
over.]
Hiroshi and Daisuke: Akane!
Akane: Whats wrong guys, you look like you've been running all over
Tokyo.
Hiroshi: It's Shampoo, she she's flipped out or something.
Daisuke: Yeah! We seen her beat the hell out of this guy! We have to tell
Ranma.
[The two start to walk into the dinning area. They stop dead in there
tracks when they see Shampoo handing out bowls of ramen. The yell and turn
and run for the door, nearly knocking over Akane for a second time. Akane
walks back to the table and sits down beside Ranma.]
Ranma: What's wrong with them?
Akane: I don't know.. I think they've been up all night watching horror
movies again. You remember last time that happened.
Ranma: (Laughing) Yeah, they thought the old lech was a pod person.
Shampoo: Shampoo need to be excused for a moment.
[Shampoo stands up and walks out of the room. She walks around the house
making mental notes of room locations. She quickly comes back down stairs
and rejoins the Tendo's.]
Shampoo: Shampoo must go now, is very busy at Nekohanten with out
great-grandma.
Ranma: (Shoving food in his mouth) See ya later Shampoo. Thanks for the
food.
Genma: (Doing the same) Yeah, thanks.
[Shampoo lets her self out, and gets on her bike and rides back to the
Nekohanten. She puts out the "Close for the day" sign and closes the door.
Shampoo drops to her knees and is engulfed with purple smoke, which
quickly swirls around and solidifys.]
Devil: (Cracks knuckles) Now for the fun part.
[The devil snaps her fingers and turns back into the smoke. The smoke
swirls around then seeps outside through the crack under the door. It
forms itself into a small cloud, then heads towards the Tendo's.
Meanwhile:
[Hiroshi and Daisuke stand by a street light, which turns on as dusk
approaches.]
Daisuke: We.. have to do something..
Hiroshi: But.. what?
Daisuke: I don't know..
Hiroshi: Let's go .. talk to Ukyou.
Daisuke: Yeah.. maybe she can help.
Hiroshi: Or.. at least.. beat Shampoo with that.. spatula of hers.
[The two start running again, this time towards Ucchan's]
Part 4
[Ucchan's. Ryoga slowly awakens and realizes where he is. He looks around
and sees Ukyou beside him. He places a hand on her shoulder and shakes her
gently.]
Ryoga: Ukyou, wake up.
Ukyou: Ugh.. what happened?
Ryoga: I was going to ask the same thing.
Ukyou: Weird.
[Ukyou and Ryoga stand up. Ukyou walks to the window.]
Ukyou: How long have we been asleep? Its dark out. Damn, there goes
today's profit. I better open so I can at least get the dinner crowd in.
Ryoga: Umm want some help?
Ukyou: Sure sugar. That would be nice since Konatsu is off visiting
relatives. I could use the help.
[Ukyou opens her door and sets out her curtain. She turns to enter when
she notices a duck sitting on her sign.]
Ukyou: Mousse?
Mousse-duck: Quack.
Ukyou: Come on in, we'll get you some hot water.
[Mousse flies through the door and Ukyou turns to follow. Before she can
enter, Hiroshi and Daisuke come running up.]
Daisuke: Ukyou!
Ukyou: Yes?
Hiroshi: We have to talk to you.. it's important.
Ukyou: Sure thing sugar, how about you guys come in and eat then we can
talk.
Hiroshi: Okay.
[The three enter Ucchan's and sit down at Ukyou mixes up some batter. Ryoga
stands by with Mousse-duck, heating up a kettle.]
Ukyou: So what's up?
Daisuke: It's Shampoo, we seen her kill some one.
Ukyou: What?
Hiroshi: It's true!
Ukyou: Are you sure.. I mean she is pretty tricky, but with Cologne out of
town, I can't imagine her killing someone.
[Ryoga takes the kettle from the stove and dumps it over Mousse. Mousse
turns to a plant and starts talking.]
Mousse: They are not lying Ukyou. I seen it as well. However I seen a
little more then they did.
Ukyou: I'm over here, jackass.
[Mousse puts on his glasses then turns to Ukyou.]
Mousse: Shampoo did kill some one. This boy came into the Nekohanten
today, asking about the Tendo's. He talked Shampoo into siding with her,
then the boy dropped to the floor and smoke came from him. Then it swirled
around Shampoo and entered her body.
Hiroshi and Daisuke: Cool!
Mousse: Then Shampoo took the boy out side and beat him to death.
Ryoga: What of the body?
Mousse: As far as I know it is still there.
Ukyou: We have to tell Ranma.
Daisuke: We were going to, but when we got there, Shampoo was there.
Ukyou: Oh Kami-sami. We have to do something.
Ryoga: Let's go to the Tendo's.. maybe she hasn't done anything yet.
Ukyou: Good idea, I need to go upstairs and get my spatula.
Hiroshi: Don't you usually just strap it to your back?
Ukyou: Yeah, but some thing weird happened today. I woke up down here with
out it. I'll be back in a second.
[Ukyou runs up stairs to her room. She franticly searches for her spatula
behind the door, near her desk, and various other places.]
Ukyou: Ukyou, you jackass, where did you put it.
[Ukyou throws the covers off her bed, finding a small folded up sheet of
paper. She picks it up and unfolds it.]
Ukyou: Odd.
[She reads the note out loud.]
Ukyou: Ukyou, there is a woman who wants to kill the Tendo's, she has
tricked you into siding with her. You wont remember anything. You have to
trust me. Signed, Ukyou. Weird.. it's my hand writing..
[Ukyou folds the note and turns to leave, when she trips over something.
She bends over and picks up her spatula. She shakes her head.]
Ukyou: (Whispering) Jackass.
[Ukyou runs down stairs and rejoins the group.]
Ukyou: Umm guys, this got a little more complicated.
[Ukyou hands Mousse the note.]
Mousse: I see.
[Mousse hands it to Ryoga.]
Ryoga: That would explain why you woke up down here.. But what about me?
[Ryoga hands the note to Hiroshi.]
Ukyou: Where is the last place you remember being?
Ryoga: Ryugenzawa.
Daisuke: I don't mean to be rude, but we need to go.. now.
[Everyone nods and heads towards the Tendo's. It's now quite late in the
evening and the streets are empty. Ukyou takes Ryoga's hand to keep him
from straying. He decides not to tell her he can find his way on his own.]

[Tendo's. Everyone is sleeping save for Ranma and Akane, who are on the
roof talking.]
Ranma: What makes you think something is weird with her?
Akane: Well I shrugged off Hiroshi and Daisuke's comments.. but then I
remembered something that happened when Shampoo first got here.
Ranma: Which would be?
Akane: She spoke perfect Japanese. A whole sentence.. with proper gramer.
Ranma: You sure?
Akane: Yeah.. I asked her about it, then she went back to the way she
normally talks.
Ranma: That is pretty weird. Maybe she thinks her accent is cute or
somethin' and she just forgot to use it since I wasn't around for her to
try to impress with it.
Akane: Maybe your right.. but that is pretty pathetic.
Ranma: So is your jealousy.
Akane: What did you say? Care to repeat that Ranma?
Ranma: Nope, sure don't. See ya!
[Ranma jumps off the roof and runs out of the gate. Akane follows behind
him. While the two are running, a cloud of purple smoke floats over the
Tendo roof, and seeps into the window of Soun's room. It solidifys beside
his bed. He starts to wake, but the Devil blows dust into his eyes.]
Devil: Cant have you screaming now can we?
[The devil grabs a sword from Soun's wall and unsheaths it. She smiles
slightly as she raises the katana over her head.]
Devil: My revenge begins now. Die Tendo.
[The devil swings the sword down, slicing a deep gash in Soun's neck. She
laughs and drops the sword beside his body then snaps her fingers. The
smoke flies out the window and into the night sky.]
Meanwhile:
[Ranma stops running and turns around. He pulls down an eyelid and sticks
out his tongue. Akane speeds up and leaps at him. Ranma, too startled to
dodge, catches her, and the two topple over onto the grass.]
Ranma: Klutz.
Akane: Jerk.
[Akane notices Ranma procrastinating in letting her go. She smiles and
leans in and kisses him softly on the lips. Ranma jumps up, knocking Akane
onto her butt.]
Ranma: Urk, sorry.
[He extends his hand and helps her up.]
Ranma: What didja do that for?
Akane: Well we *are* engaged. I figured it was about time.
Ranma: Yeah, I guess so.
[Ranma grabs Akane and pulls her too him, and kisses her softly.]
Ranma: There, now we're even.
[Akane laughs then runs off.]
Ranma: Hey, where are you goin'?
Akane: Home, if they wake up and we aren't there, I don't feel like having
to explain what we were doing.
Ranma: Oh..
[Ranma runs and catches up to her. He takes her hand and the two run
towards home, when Ukyou and Ryoga (still hand in hand) round the corner.
Both couples stop in their tracks and stare at the others hands. Daisuke,
Hiroshi, and Mousse round the corner in time to see both couples release
hands.]
Hiroshi: Uh oh, this could get ugly.
Daisuke: Umm, before you guys spill blood, we should talk.
Hiroshi: Yeah, Shampoo killed someone Ranma, we seen it.
Ranma: Akane already told me you guys said that..
Daisuke: Well we *weren't* making it up, and we *didn't* watch those
horror movies again.
Hiroshi: Yeah, besides, Mousse seen it too.
Ranma and Akane: What??
Mousse: It's true.
Ranma: Who was it?
Mousse: I don't know.
Ranma: Take me there.
[The group runs off towards the Nekohanten.]

[Nekohanten. Ranma and Co. are standing out side where the murder had
occured.]
Hiroshi: This is where it happened.
Akane: There isn't anyone here..
Mousse: I doubt she would just leave it here..
[Ranma kneels down and inspects the ground.]
Ranma: There is blood.. and a trail, like some one was dragged through the
dirt.
[Ranma follows it around to the back. The group follows.]
Ranma: Looks like it ends at the dumpster.
[Ranma lifts the lid then drops it in surprise. He motions for Ryoga to
come over.]
Ranma: (Whispering) I think it's that Shinnosuke guy.. look and see.
[Ryoga lifts the lid and nods.]
Akane: What is it?
[Akane starts to walk up to the dumpster when Ranma leaps in front of
her.]
Akane: Ranma, I want to see.
Ranma: No Akane.. It's Shinnosuke.
Akane: No..
[Akane tries to go around Ranma, but he grabs her and holds her
tightly. She stops struggling and cries onto his shoulder.]
Ukyou: Who is it?
Ryoga: Its a guy Akane saved when we were in Ryugenzawa about a year ago.
Hiroshi: Hey, Ryoga, isn't that the last place you remember being?
Ryoga: Yeah.. Kami-sami, it might have me too..
Ranma: It? Too? Shampoo didn't do this?
Mousse: Yes and no. Something is inside Shampoo. It is after the Tendo's,
why it killed this boy I don't know. Perhaps it no longer has a use for
him. It appears can be inside Ukyou too, she left a note for herself to
remember.
Ranma: What about Ryoga?
Ryoga: Last place I remember being was Ryugenzawa, then I woke up at
Ucchan's.
Ranma: What the hell are we gonna do?
Mousse: Cologne returns tomorrow, maybe we can ask her for help.
[Akane breaks from Ranma's grasp and speaks through her sobs.]
Akane: Where is this thing now?
[Everyone shrugs.]
[Inside the Nekohanten. Shampoo wakens and rubs her eyes. She hears voices
and goes outside to see the group standing around.]
Shampoo: What you all doing here. Is late.
[Everyone jumps and backs away slowly. Ranma grabs Akane and puts her
behind him.]
Ranma: Who are you?
Shampoo: Am Shampoo, is airen feeling well?
Mousse: Shampoo, what is the last thing you remember?
Shampoo: Shampoo remembers opening store. Then just wake up in floor.
Ukyou: That sounds familiar.
Ranma: I still don't think we should trust her.
Daisuke: Yeah but there are seven of us, and one of her. If she is
possessed, I think we can take her.
Mousse: I won't allow you to hurt her.
Hiroshi: Fine, six on two. We can still win.
Ranma: Like you two could do anything.
Hiroshi: Hey, you'd be surprised, we don't watch karate-flicks for
nothing.
[Ranma rolls his eyes.]
Ranma: All right, Mousse you guard Shampoo tonight. Ryoga and Ukyou can
guard each other, I doubt the thing can take two people at once. We'll
all meet back here tomorrow to speak with the old ghoul.
Daisuke: And us?
Ranma: Don't speak to weird looking strangers. I don't care how pretty
there are, got it?
Daisuke: Yeah.. okay.
[Everyone heads back to their respective homes. Ranma picks up Akane
piggy-back style and carries her home.]
Akane: Why Ranma? Shinnosuke never hurt anyone. And what do they want to
kill Tendo's for.
Ranma: It's okay Akane-chan. We'll find who did this, and they'll pay.
Part 5
[Tendo's. Ranma and Akane sneak into the house and up to Akane's door.
Ranma lets Akane down and she slowly opens her door. She looks up
nervously at Ranma.]
Akane: Ranma, please stay with me tonight.. I'm scared.
[Ranma looks into her eyes and can only nod, he follows her into her room,
and shuts the door behind them.]
Akane: Turn around.
Ranma: What for?
Akane: So I can change, baka.
Ranma: Oh.
[Ranma blushes and turns around. Akane changes into her yellow pajamas and
crawls into bed. Ranma hears the bed sheets being moved and strips down to
his boxers. He turns to see Akane staring at him. He blushes and sits on
the floor, setting his clothes up as a pillow.]
Akane: What are you doing?
Ranma: Going to sleep.
Akane: Umm, I'd feel a little better if you were up here with me.
[Ranma raises an eyebrow.]
Ranma: Are you s-sure?
Akane: Ranma, please.
[Ranma nods and climbs into the bed.]
Akane: Thank you, Ranma.
Ranma: No prob, Akane.
Ranma and Akane: (thinking) I love you.

[Morning at the Tendo residence. Everyone minus Soun is around the table
waiting for breakfast.]
Ranma: Hey old man, where's Mr. Tendo?
Genma: Last time I saw him was last night, playing shogi. He probably has
a head ache from all the sake. Where were *you* last night boy?
[Ranma and Akane blush quite red.]
Ranma: That ain't none of your business old man.
Genma: What did I ever do to deserve such a disrespectful boy.
Ranma: I'll make you a list.
Akane: Kasumi, I'm really worried about daddy. He's usually down here by
now.
Nabiki: Yeah, except for when Akane is cooking breakfast.
Akane: Shut up, Nabiki.
Nabiki: I'm only being honest.
Kasumi: I'll go check on him.
[Kasumi takes off her apron and walks upstairs. She knocks softly on
Soun's door and gets no answer. She knocks again and slowly opens the
door.]
Kasumi: Father?
[She pokes her head in the room. She quickly raises a hand to her mouth.]
Kasumi: Oh my..
[Kasumi collapses to the floor with a loud thud. Ranma, Akane, and Nabiki
run up the stairs. Genma takes the opportunity to steal their breakfast.
Ranma gets up the stairs first and checks Kasumi for a pulse.]
Ranma: She's cold as ice. Something scared the hell out of her..
[Nabiki pushes the door open and the three see Soun staring at the
ceiling, his bed sheets soaked in blood. Nabiki takes Akane, who is unable
to move, and walks her down stairs. Genma stops stuffing his face and runs
upstairs to see what is causing the girls tears. He see's Ranma walking into
Soun's room. Ranma stands by the bed and gently closes Soun's eyes. He
turns to see his father kneeling by the bed.]
Genma: (Whispering) What happened to him boy?
Ranma: Come on pop, I'll explain it down stairs.
[Ranma helps his father to his feet, then picks up Kasumi and joins
Nabiki, who is holding a sobbing Akane, at the table. Ranma lays Kasumi
beside them and sits beside Akane.]
Nabiki: All right Saotome, just what the hell is going on here.
Ranma: How the hell am I supposed to know. I just found out about this
thing yesterday.
Genma: What thing boy?
Akane: Why.. Ranma why?
[Ranma takes Akane's hand and holds it tightly.]
Ranma: Akane, if any one tries to touch you, they're goin' to have to kill
me first.
Nabiki: Okay.. will *someone* please fucking clue me in?
Ranma: Something is after anyone named Tendo. It has tricked Shampoo,
Ukyou, and possibly Ryoga into working for it. Anyone who works for it can
be possessed by it.
Genma: So why don't you do something about it boy?
Ranma: Like what exactly? I don't even know what it looks like.
Akane: Ranma, we have to see Cologne.
Ranma: Right.. I guess we should hurry, they're probably waiting for us.
Pop, you carry Kasumi.. maybe Cologne can help her.
[Genma picks up Kasumi and the group head towards the Nekohanten. When
they get there, everyone is standing around the outside of the cafe.]
Cologne: Ah, son-in-law. It is about time you showed up.
Ranma: Don't start with me. Akane's father was killed last night.
Ryoga: Akane..
[Ryoga's battle aura flares.]
Ryoga: I can't just stand around here and talk. Akane, I will find this
thing and make it pay.
Ukyou: Ryoga, you jackass. You can't seriously think you can fight it by
yourself.
[By the time Ukyou finishes her sentence Ryoga is already gone.]
Ukyou: Argh, that idiot.
Cologne: No time to worry about him now. He is under the spell too
correct?
Ukyou: Most likely.
Cologne: Next time we see him he may be possessed.
Ranma: All right, so what do you know about this thing anyway?
Cologne: Well from what I have been told, it seems it is a vengeful
spirit. It can possess anyone who agrees to side with her, in return it
grants a wish of sorts.
Shampoo: How you get rid of it?
Cologne: It leaves after it fulfills its purpose and the wishes.
Ukyou: Is there anyway to keep it from possessing those who have agreed to
help it?
Cologne: Yes, but I do not know the technique. I will have to do some
research.
Ranma: What do we do until then?
Cologne: Well anyone who is a Tendo, must drop that name.
Nabiki: How are we supposed to do that?
Cologne: By getting married, child.
Akane: What??
Cologne: The spirit is after Tendo's correct? So if you are married, you
are no longer a Tendo.
[Nabiki walks over to Hiroshi and Daisuke.]
Nabiki: Okay boys, I'll let one of you marry me for 5000 yen.
Hiroshi: Umm, how much for Akane?
Nabiki: 10,000
Ranma and Akane: What?!?
Daisuke: 7,500
Ranma: If anyone is marryin' Akane it's going to be me.
Shampoo: But Ranma Shampoo's husband.
Ranma: No Ranma isn't. I can't let Akane die.
Akane: Ranma..
Daisuke: Well this sucks. Thanks a lot Ranma, you could have picked a
better time to admit your feelings.
[Hiroshi hands Nabiki some Yen.]
Nabiki: Well that settles that.
Daisuke: Hey! You jerk that wasn't fair.
[Daisuke shoves Hiroshi.]
Nabiki: Calm down boys, maybe we can work out a time share.
Genma: Well we better go start this wedding. Your father would be so proud
Akane.
[Kasumi starts to come around.]
Daisuke: Hey, Nabiki..
Nabiki: Hmm?
Daisuke: What about Kasumi?
Nabiki: How much you got?
[Daisuke pulls out his wallet and counts.]
Daisuke: Umm, 4,375
Nabiki: Works for me.
Cologne: Enough, you need to hurry. I'll come to you all when I find a way
to exercise the spirit.
Kasumi: Father?
Genma: It's okay Kasumi.. we'll find some way to stop this thing.

[Ryoga wanders down the streets of Nerima. He feels a presence behind him.
He turns but nothing is there.]
Ryoga: Come out, I know you are there.
[A cloud of purple smoke comes up behind him and engulfs him. He falls to
his knees and the smoke enters his ears. Ryoga stands up and dusts himself
off.]
Ryoga: (Devil's voice thinking) Time to finish off the job.
[A familiar looking boy walks towards Ryoga carrying a bouquet of red
roses, deep in thought.]
Kuno: The pig-tailed girl, or Akane Tendo. The pig-tailed girl, or Akane
Tendo.
[Lost in thought, Kuno bumps into Ryoga.]
Kuno: Step aside peasant.
Ryoga: (Devils voice thinking) Kuno eh? This could be fun. (Ryoga) Perhaps
you and I could help each other.
Kuno: And what would I, the noble Tatewaki Kuno need from someone such as
you?
Ryoga: Well what would you like more than anything in this world?
Kuno: To rid this world of that cur, Saotome. What is it to you?
Ryoga: If you agree to help me, I will destroy him.
Kuno: Speak you the truth?
Ryoga: Yes..
[Kuno goes into a dream sequence where the pig-tailed girl and Akane throw
themselves onto him. He begins to drool when Ryoga slaps him.]
Ryoga: Snap out of it, do we have a deal.
Kuno: Of course. What shall I do for you?
Ryoga: You will soon find out.
[Cologne watches the smoke leave Ryoga and pass into Kuno on her way to
the Tendo's. Kuno picks himself up off the ground and walks towards the
Nekohanten. Cologne bounces out of her hiding space and wakes Ryoga]
Cologne: We don't have much time.
Ryoga: Ugh, what happened?
Cologne: You ran off, got possessed, then passed it on to Kuno.
Ryoga: What use would that idiot be?
Cologne: No matter, we have to hurry.
[Cologne pulls out a book and places a hand on Ryoga's head. She utters a
few unintelligable phrases and her hand begins to glow. Ryoga stiffens
then collapses to the ground.]
Ryoga: That felt.. weird.
Cologne: You were being returned to normal, as if you never met the
spirit.
Ryoga: That means I'm cursed again?
Cologne: If she cured it, yes.
Ryoga: Damn..
Cologne: Come child, that Kuno boy is headed towards the my store.
Part 6
[Kuno wanders into the Nekohanten. Shampoo is crying at a table, Mousse at
her side trying to console her.]
Mousse: Come on Shampoo, Ranma loves Akane.. Just as I love you.
Shampoo: If not for stupid spirit, Ranma would no marry violent-girl.
Kuno: (Devil's voice thinking) What? She remembers? They must die before
they cause me any trouble.
[Kuno wields his bokken and creaps up behind Shampoo and bludgeons her to
death. Mousse jumps up and tries to sling his hidden weapons at Kuno, but
kuno slings his bokken into Mousse's face. His glasses fly across the
room. He stumbles around looking for him, and knocks a glass of water onto
himself. Mousse-duck flies around the cafe with Kuno taking swipes at
him.]
Kuno: Hold still you idiot.
[Mousse flies into a wall knocking himself unconcious. Kuno walks over to
Mousse's glasses and stomps them to bits. He laughs and turns to leave. He
shoves Shampoo's body out of the chair and onto the floor.]
Kuno: It's too bad, it would have been fun to see the look on their faces
when you killed Ranma. I better hurry before they go through with this
marriage.
[Kuno steps over Shampoo's body and exits the Nekohanten and heads towards
the Tendo's]

[Cologne grabs Ryoga's hand and drags him towards the Nekohanten. They
stop in front of the door and Cologne orders him to stay there. Cologne
bounces into the Nekohanten.]
Cologne: No..
[Cologne bounces over to Shampoo and takes her pulse. Finding none she
stands up and bounces over to Mousse. She shakes him and he quacks softly.
She grabs him and takes him over to the sink and turns the hot water on.
She splashes some on him then turns around allowing him to dress.]
Cologne: What happened here?
Mousse: It was here, as that Kendo idiot. He snuck up behind us as we were
talking.. I should have felt him here.. I was so absorbed in helping
Shampoo. I failed her.
[Mousse collapses to his knees and cries.]
Cologne: Get up Mousse. We have to destroy this thing.
[Mousse slowly climbs to his feet and follows Cologne out the door. She
looks from left to right, Ryoga is no where to be seen.]
Cologne: That fool, does he not remember what I told him.. He'll never
find his way to the Tendo's.
[Cologne hops on her staff towards the Tendo Training Hall, Mousse
following the sound of her staff hitting the ground.]

[Tendo Dojo. Genma and Ukyou guard the door while Hiroshi and Nabiki,
Daisuke and Kasumi, and Ranma and Akane (dressed semi-formally) stand
beside a priest.]
Priest: Who should I start with?
Akane: Kasumi, she's still a little weak from going into shock. She needs
to get off her feet as soon as she can.
[The Priest nods and turns to face Daisuke and Kasumi.]
Priest: Do you, Daisuke Kubota, take Kasumi Tendo, to be your wedded
wife?
Daisuke: I do.
Priest: Do you. Kasumi Tendo, take Daisuke Kubota, to be your wedded
husband.
Kasumi: I do.
Priest: I now pronounce you, man and wife. You may kiss the bride.
Kasumi: Oh my!
[Daisuke leans in and kisses Kasumi on the cheek. Nabiki snaps a picture,
then hides the camera behind her back innocently.]
Priest: Okay, next.
[Akane shoves Nabiki foward.]
Akane: After you, Nabiki.
[Nabiki swears under her breath and fails to notice Hiroshi wink at
Akane.]
Priest: Do you, Hiroshi Takechi, take Nabiki Tendo, to be your wedded
wife?
Hiroshi: I do.
Priest: Do you, Nabiki Tendo, take Hiroshi Takechi, to be your wedded
husband?
[Nabiki looks at her finger nails idlely.]
Nabiki: I suppose.
Priest: I now pronounce you, man and wife. You may kiss the bride.
Nabiki: A kiss is another 5000 yen.
[Hiroshi shrugs and leans in and kisses Nabiki.. hard. Akane whips a
camera from hammerspace and snaps a picture.]
Hiroshi: Bill me.
[Ranma rolls on the floor laughing, while Nabiki stands unmoving.]
Genma: Get up, boy. Time's a wasting.
[Ranma gets up and glances nervously at Akane.]
Ranma: Guess it's our turn.
Akane: Yeah..
Ranma: Sorry it has to be rushed like this..
[Ranma puts a hand behind his head. Akane takes his other, causing him to
blush.]
Akane: Better than not at all.
Priest: Do you..
[The Priest is interrupted by a loud smashing noise. Kuno stands on top of
a pile of rubble that used to be part of the dojo wall.]
Kuno: Saotome, prepare to die!
[Akane gets angry and glares at Kuno.]
Akane: Why does this *always* happen?
[Akane pulls out her mallet and slams it over the charging Kuno's head. He
falls to the ground unconcious, then is surrounded by purple smoke.]
Ukyou: It had him too.. oh shit..
[Ukyou is cut off by the smoke surrounding her and entering her body.]
Ukyou: Ha! Fools, you cannot stop me.. I shall see you in hell Akane
Tendo.
[Ranma takes a battle stance.]
Ranma: If you want Akane, you have to go through me.
Ukyou: My pleasure. Prepare to suffer, mortal.
