of Barney as an alter ego didn't go down quite so well...

Asuka goes postal. It's supposed to be a darkfic mixed with
humour. Methinks the fic would have worked if the author left
out the mention of it being 'dark' - methinks ironic would be
a better description.

A reposted one-shot (?) by the author of 'Ascent of the Fallen'.
Asuka kicks Shinji around and drags him about. They have a
quarrel. Shinji is (emotionally) hurt. Asuka feels his pain
(later). Their relationship develops and deepens as a result.
When I first started to read this, I found myself thinking
'Oh no, not another fic where Shinji x Asuka fall into each
other's arms on the feeblest pretext ever'. BUT upon finishing
it, I must say it brought a smile to my face. The sibling
angle is usually reserved for Shinji-Rei fics but this fic
does a good job of attempting to break the mould.

We backtrack to the first 'test' world created by Shinji.
More depravity and hilarity ensue. Asuka. Leather. Whip.
Red rubber dominatrix outfit. Need I say more? Plus there
are lots of scenes to mollify the rapid Shinji x Asukers.
We also glean some important information about the theatre
and how things fit together in this post-Third Impact world.
This has got to be one of my fave fic series. Write on!
