Subject: [FFML] Attention: Trouble with my writing

I'm sending this to the list and to as many of my
prereaders as possible to let them know.

Last night, the power supply on my desktop machine
ate itself in a flash of power. All my fanfics, back
e-mail files, commemtary due to be sent out, et cetera,
are trapped on that machine now, unreachable.

Basically, I'm screwed. I'm relying on Anand
Raoh's laptop to stay in touch, and that doesn't have
much HD space left. (Not to mention the fact that trying
to touchtype on a laptop keyboard is an exercise in
avoiding insanity.)

Oh, Ed. Whenever email like this from you I just shake my head in grudging
respect. You are persistent, I'll hand you that.

So I'd like to appologize in advance to all
the members of the list to whom I've promised C&C,
as well as all of my friends. I can RECEIVE mail, but
replying is gonna be a bitch until my machine's back
up to working order.

Again, I'm really sorry, and I'll get back to
you just as soon as it's humanly possible for me to
do so.

Ed Becerra (temporarilly desktop-less for now)

Well, normally I'd say "Hang in there" or something, but this is you, Ed
Bercerra. I don't need to.
Still, we're rooting for you.

Indeed, it seems to me, one of the most vital qualities for a writer to have
is an ability to see the potentialities for impending doom in everything
that happens.
