You know, this is an excellent idea, you should write an actual fic for
it. Either leading up to this, or afterwards, both would be equally
interesting. Which version are you using? In Adams's version of the pair
Yuri looks more like Ukyo than anyone else. As for the originals, I
always thought she kind of looked like Akane myself. Perhaps having your
own spring makes you somewhat immortal?
Would this be an alterniverse, or would we assume that cannon DP
happened normally and this is just later?
Another thing I was kind of wondering about, why change Taro's curse? If
the springs made Ranma and Ryoga immortal. Why would it be any diffrent
with the other curses? I can see why you changed Ryoga that way though,
but as I said before he's easily replaced by Akane. This could mean that
Mousse, Shampoo, Genma, and especially Herb could show up later on. Most
of the springs appear to be age specific; [Spring of drowned Pigglet, not
spring of drowned pig remember?] so there's no reason to believe that the
other curses don't work that way.
I hope you write more of this. I really like the idea behind it. I'm too
proud to beg for more though.
