I'm not that familiar with DP. I'm a lot better with Ranma, but I
think it's the original. As for the resemblance, I hold to the "It's
what you would have looked like if you were born female" theory. (At
least for this fic.) And I've seen people who looked like twins who
weren't even related, so Yuri could very well resemble Akane.
Actually this theory is proven in cannon Ranma. Herb does not look like
female ranma with his curse. He looks like a female version of himself.

I have been reminded that Taro's curses tend to be cumulative. Which
means that he would probably be a FEMALE-Yeti-Riding-etc. Ouch.

Happi. (Ha! Make him hurt!) I didn't really go through a real
plotting period for this one, just slammed it out, so there are some
holes. I might have to fix them when I write the next part.
Well, actually you can curse just part of your body with Jusenkyo water.
Taro probably just added a little bit of octopus water to his back. This
is also from cannon, Happosai gets some drowned twins water on a bump on
his head and it turns in to two lumps.
It would be funny to do a fic where Ranma only gets a little girl water
on his crotch instead of taking the plunge. hee hee. Maybe I will one
day...
I hope you write more of this. I really like the idea
behind it.
