Well, I'll say this. It's been done. I'll admit the Yaoi scene is a bit
rare, but still.
If you have something new to offer this story by all means continue.
However, many people who
read this will have the same initial thought as I did.
"Oh, another Ranma loves Ryoga fic. How cute."
Well, it was cute until I got to the part about them
licking each other's members. Eeeww. Oh well, it's not like you didn't
warn me, and I can accept that.
Your writing seems sound and I didn't see any glaring problems in your
gramar or anything,
not that I was really looking. You'll lose a bit of readers over the
whole Yaoi thing, but that's to be
expected. It was a bit short, but then again it is just a prelude. I'll
be interested in the reasons behind this.
Are both Ranma and Ryoga gay? Or did Ryoga fall in love with girl type
Ranma and just decide to accept
the extra 'packaging'? There are lots of ways to handle this, how well
this fic is recieved will have a lot to do with
how well you can handle it.
Also, Ranma's curse would actually make this relationship easier.
Especially to the public at large. He and Ryoga could date with a minimum
of fuss, only worrying about keeping their activities a secret from the
Tendos and Furinkan's populace. Also homosexuality is more socially
accepted in Japan. With the public more than within family groups. i.e.
your family will hate it, but the strangers won't bother you much.
Akane could be interesting as well. Possibly knowing about the dates but
either assuming Ranma is just tricking Ryoga all the time, or actually
helping Ranma out and being fully aware of what he really wants.
Just my 2cents.
