Hey,

Amazing how often I actually reply publically to FFML mail when it comes
closer to finals time at Uni.

Can't imagine why. ^_^

And then, this move having been anticipated, the spike shoots out
another
six inches.

This was good. <G> D.B. should make the spike belatedly pop up after
she's
hopped to the next bamboo pole.

Maybe in a revision.

Speaking of... I know the bamboo poles are on rocks on lava... Wouldn't
the heat be enough to cause the bamboo to "flame on"?

Shh. Don't try to use too much logic to explain things. Next thing you'll
know, you'll question exactly why it seems so many Dojo Destroyers are
falling out of the sky or something.

 I've been within a
few feet of flowing lava and it's damn hot. Had to step back a few
paces...

It took Takeo a moment to regain control of his emotions. He carefully
examined each of the girls. Mai, Tai, and *shudder* Bobbie Joe (oh how he
loathed his idiot niece for giving the girl that stupid gaijin name.) At
least everyone just called her B.J., but even then, that led to some
pretty
vulgar jokes for which she would continually beat people up.

Vulgar jokes? Do tell, that's a new one for me. My Mom's nickname is
BJ.

Erm. *cough* it rhymes with felatio.

That too.

Her sister, Tai, was exactly the opposite. The girl was voluptuous, with
enormous breasts that she insisted on showing off as much and as often as
she could.

So enduring her was more a matter of testicular fortitude?

"Have I mentioned how large and perky my breasts are, today?
   *thrusts chest out*
   "See!"

The only response was the sound of her granduncle's body hitting the
floor. She wasn't sure if it was due to bloody nose (why did that
always
happen to him?) or the repeated banging of his head on the nearby
rock
    wall.

Hehehehe.

Just what every ninja needed to sneak around inconspicuously.

Was she perhaps disguised as the 300 pound disco ball that fell on Boy
George a few months back? Target... missed.

"It would have been a glamorous way to go."

Heh. Didn't know that almost happened.

Takeo was regarded by many to be
the best ninja of his and the previous generations, which he had proven
time and again by succeeding in every task that was set before him, and
then in all of the goals he set for himself. In time, growing bored with
a

And yet his niece could easily carve him up should anything happen to her
daughters? ala. Akane bashing Ranma whenever she feels like?

Nah. She's not a ninja. Just a housewife that's handy with a sword. Very
handy.

The problem wasn't in their
inherent ability to do any job; it was in their inherent ability to mess
up
any job, in spite of their skills.

I'm envisioning Mihoshi here.

They're a wee bit brighter than that. Not by much, mind you, but a bit.

"I know it's common for a student, upon
completing the final obstacle course, to graduate and become an official
ninja with a diploma and everything,

We are an ultra-secret society.... who have copyrighted our name. We
are the *dramatic pause* The White_Desicated_Head_Bones!

Haven't seen that one yet. Not sure if I want to.

Dark runes etched in a dry, flaky, red substance marred the surface of
the doors.

Yet more victims of the Taco Bell Forced Bodily Expulsion technique.

Yuck!

"Unusual museum," Ukyou commented as she crossed the threshold with the
others.

"I thought museums were supposed to be scary and unapproachable by the
public."

Hehehehe. I like that line...a lot. Very nice.

Ranma considered that. "Since this is a big museum, and we're going to
have
to deal with multiple opponents, I think we should split up into teams
and
cover more ground that way."

-_- It's Scream all over again.

Or better yet: Scary Movie.

Eh? I'm not familiar with that.

"I don't care," Ranma said. "Split up however you want, but it's just
going
to be Ryouga and me as a team."

Let's team our two strongest members together and have following groups
delegated by relative weakness. Makes for good scenes of groups being
taken
down from weakest to strongest until the final showdown.

But you're forgetting one other facet: Mental competence. Neither Ranma nor
Ryouga are exactly the brightest of people, and neither are they the most
compatible.

Okay, that does go for all of the groups, but it's not that much worse for
them, really.

I swear I'll get around to my own, original critique... eventually.

Will be keeping my eyes open for it.

Thanks for the additional comments.
