Ranma and her dad are preparing to fight in the Tendo's back
yard, the time is the morning of the second day of Nodoka's
first visit. They are standing very close together,
sufficiently close to speak quietly enough not to have to
worry about being overheard.
"You know, Pops, Sometimes I get so tired of you. You are
always making promises and then either running out on
fulfilling them or expecting me to keep them for you. I
sometimes think I'd like to walk up to Mom and say Ok, If
you want to have me commit suicide, I will but you have to
make Genma go first. I want to watch him go. Just to see you
have to keep your word, yourself, just for once in your
life. It would almost be worth it, just to see that for
once, in my life."
After saying this Ranma threw his father into the Koi pond,
effectively preventing him from replying.
After looking at the panda for a few seconds, Ranma turned
and walked into the house.

"I guess I'm just an old-fashioned sentimentalist at heart.
I refuse
to accept a no-win scenario. I hate the thought of a
universe without
justice. If the maneuverings of dark powers can't be
exposed and
defeated by the pure of heart, then there's no point in
anything. I
can't believe that."
