Umm...not to rain on your parade, but FORMULA FIC!
By halfway through the second scene, I knew more or less what the ending
was going to be. The only mystery was exactly what the "it" was, but it
was guaranteed to be some totally innocent activity, and not the
implied sex at all.

I can (barely) buy Ranma and Akane wanting to do this together to that
extent - perhaps if someone suggested that it could be a way they could
capture each other's heart, and managed to get it through their "I'm not
interested in him/her" defenses. But having recently been in that age
group myself, since when do "most people [their] age" cross-stich?
I mean no offense; this is just a suggestion so you can steer your good
efforts away from something like this next time, even for just a
spamfic.
