I don't have a problem with the premise of this one, as others have, but I don't
see why it should cause things to work out so easily. For the sake of the story,
I can accept Akane having trained to be better than Ranma, but I don't see why
that should cure the problems they had in the manga. Indeed, if you look at the
storylines where Akane became super-powerful (the super-soba and magic
battlesuit stories) it caused even *more* problems for them due to Ranma's ego.
The Nabiki parts seemed a little extraneous. You've shown us what she's like in
this continuity, but not really *done* anything with her. Is this going to
continue? The ending seems to suggest so.
