All though there was no new threat to love and justice the Senshi were
having a meeting. Actually, it was more like a small victory party. A
celebration that they had survived trials that would break most people and
come out for the better. As such it had a fairly festive atmosphere. Mokoto
had brought a lot of baked goods, along with Rei. Usagi and Ami had handled
the decorations with a little help from Hotaru. Haruka and Michiru had
handled the punch, paper plates and Cups. While Minako brought the music.
By now the celebration was in full swing. The couple cuddled on the couch
while Ami and Hotaru talked. Rei and Usagi were actually being civil with
each other when the future queen wasn't inhaling food. It was at this point
that a crack of thunder sounded. Ami blinked "That's odd it didn't look like
it was going to rain..." That's when the door opened revealing a girl who
appeared to be 18 wearing a white jumpsuit. Her hair was done up similar to
Usagi's the only difference being her hair color was pink. The girl smiled
brightly at the assembled Senshi "Hi guys!". Usagi blinked, rubbed her eyes
and blinked again "Chibi-Usa?!" The girl smiled and nodded. "Yep! How've you
all been?" She quickly took an unoccupied seat and helped herself to some
baked goods. Rei regained her composer "I hate to ask this but this isn't an
indication of a new threat...is it?" The young princess laughed. "No Rei me
and my boyfriend are here to witness history." The Senshi released their
breath as one, and then gathered around the girl to learn more.
"Boyfriend?!" Minako began, a sly smile on her face "Details please. What's
his name? Is he cute?" "What kind of Sempai is he?" Everyone turned to look
at Mokoto "What?!" Chibi-Usa shook her head "His name is Pegasus. He's been
my friend for a long, long time but we just started dating last summer." The
Senshi became nervous remembering another Pegasus that the young girl had
seemed to have an interest in, only this one had been a unicorn. Ami cleared
her throat "So where is he now?" "Right here" a deep voice stated. The group
turned as one to see a tall youth standing in the doorway, a warm smile on
his face. He appeared to be in his early 20's. He was wearing what looked
like a red Chinese shirt with black pants and sneakers. His eyes were a deep
blue and his hair black. The most distinguishing feature aside from his
well-sculpted muscles was the pigtail that reached down to mid back.
Chibi-Usa leapt from her position right into his waiting arms. After a brief
hello that consisted of a kiss, she turned to face her friends. "Guys this
is my boyfriend Pegasus Saotome."

Elsewhere a young man was taking the first steps towards his destiny. Ranma
Saotome of the anything goes school of Martial arts concentrated then began
what looked like a very simple Kata. Akane watched the grace with which he
executed his movements and frowned. He had been practicing this same Kata
for days now, she could not understand why though. When she asked him, he
just said he was developing a new technique. 'Some technique' she thought
sourly. A slightly evil smile crossed her face as she realized he was
totally engrossed in the routine. She went to the kitchen, filled a glass of
water and reentered the dojo. She then threw the water at Ranma, which
passed through him as if he were a ghost. Akane stared in shock as Ranma
turned to face her smirk in place. "Ha! You thought a slow chick like you
could get me. Heh, I saw it coming and had plenty of time to dodge. I just
wanted to see if I could vibrate through it." Everything he said after 'slow
chick' went unheard as Akane's battle aura exploded into existence. With her
battle cry of "Ranma-no-Baka!!" she swung the mallet of doom. Which passed
through the target like the water before it. Undaunted Akane swung again,
and again with the same results. Ranma chuckled the whole time. "Sorry
tomboy, the days of malleting me whenever you feel like it are gone for
good!!" "Ranma Akane dinner is ready." Kasumi stated standing in the
doorway. Ranma strolled calmly into the house. A few more days and he'd
challenge the Flash for the title of fastest man alive he thought.
Meanwhile Akane sat on the Dojo floor fuming. That jerk just had to
improve. Just had to be better than her. Well she would show him! She would
make him respect her skills as a martial artist. No matter what.
Author notes: Yes I will explain how Ranma gained his powers. As for what
happened to Elios, that will be explained later. As for the history of the
moon kingdom in relation to the DC timeline, I think I mostly have it worked
out. This is actually the prolouge to two stories. One follows Ranma in this
time period. The other will follow Pegasus life in Neo-Tokyo. C&C would be
appreciated.
