Hello, guys and gals !
Well, I haven't received a copy of the Synopsis List, so I
might as well indulge.
Anyway, this is supposed to be my SLR addenda for the
week, but I got bored and reread my entire archives while
researching for my fic. I found a lot of stuff that I think have
been missed by newer readers and also by people who
miss the stories from the more obscure or lesser anime on
the list.
Anyway, time to begin !

A Terrible Swift Sword by David Pascal
Series: SMJ
One of the few SMJ fics to hit the FFML, this is one of the
better ones. Well, yeah, it's also an original fic, but what the
hey ?
It is perfect. That's all there is to it. It is well-paced, has excellent
dialogue and absorbing characeters. The protagonist, a bible-thumpin'
prospector, which is probably not the only thing seeing TSS #16,
is probably one of the most memorable original characters ever
created in fanfiction, along with his trio of Marionettes, Fall, Belt and
Gel.
This thing will probably tide me over until SMX arrives, which is probably
anytime now from seeing a few screenshots on the recent CD.
Read this. It is SMJ at its grittiest and best. Yes, a darker world, but
wasn't it said that it is always darkest before the dawn ?

Ronin Summer by Morgan Hudson
Series: Yoroiden/SM
A rather strange series especially in the earlier parts, but now Mr.
Hudson has found his stride and has made probably one of the
better SM crossover fics I've ever had the pleasure to read.
It is very well written, and some of the scenes are truly classic. And
don't get me started on the dialogue. Mr. Hudson's ear for conversation,
one-liners and witty banter is incredible.
Another must read, just don't get frightened by the Yoroiden in the
heading. ^_^

Synthesis by Joanne Wojtysiak
Series: Lain/Matrix
Yes, I know. Another Matrix fic...but wait. This time it's different.
This is a _Lain_/ Matrix fic. Lain is probably one of the series that
can actually mesh well with the Matrix concept.
Lain has more mind-bending stuff than Evangelion and the Matrix's
concept of a false reality make a formidable combo. Not to mention
Joanne's prose style is tailor made for the genre. She may have
stumbled in the first few chapters and I still get confused at times,
but man is this baby starting to shine. Another must read if you're
tired of those Ranma and SM fics.

The Nicholas Stone Halloween Specials by Nicholas Stone
Series: Variable
Ever want to get frightened ? Ever want to have sleepless nights
because you constantly dream of your favorite anime characters
slaughtered/tortured/horrified and etc. ?
Read a Nick Stone Halloween Special. A fic that appears only
once a year.
The first time I read a Nick Stone Halloween Special, well, I deleted
it afterwards and was tempted to flame the man to hell and back.
Yes, it was a bad ending. Everyone was dead and Kasumi was about
to start the Apocalypse. And all of it was totally believable.
So, want to learn how to shock, frighten, destroy, maim, kill, severely
scar you favorite anime characters ?
Read Nick Stone. Trust me. You'll never be the same again.

Hidden Fires by Jess/LilTigre
Series: Blueseed
This is probably one of the best Blueseed fics on the FFML,
right now. Yeah, okay, it's the only Blueseed fic on the FFML
right now, but hey it's still one of the best.
Go find older chapters of this, since Jess is off in Japan right
now and probably won't write chapters for quite awhile.
This is a good fic. A very good fic, since this baby introduced
me to Blueseed and tempted me to borrow a tape of it.
Trust me. Read this. Jess wasn't included in the FFML AE for
nothing.

Operation: Lightsphere by Andrew Dynon
Series: Teknoman/Iczer
Probably one of the few Teknoman fics out there, not to mention
Iczer fic. Andrew is probably the only writer who writes in these
anime nowadays. ^_^
But them being a bit unknown to most people doesn't mean this
is not good fic. Hell, Andrew is probably one of the best writers
on the FFML right now. At the very least, he writes good stuff.
Read it. Look for older chapters and start from the top, that way
you can have a handle of things.
And go rent/borrow/steal the tapes, kids. ^_^

Everything written by Tekkaknight Warhammer
Series: Teknoman/Everything
No, the series is not "Everything Written". It is more like everything
the man wrote. If I remember correctly, Warhammer went off the
list two years back, but his legacy of Teknoman fics are probably
the best in the biz.
He crossed over Teknoman with everything: Ranma, Eva, SM and
proabbly a few others I forgot. And he did it well.
Damn, the man's a genius.
He started writing Teknoman fics since he felt that Teknoman wasn't
popular enough and decided to do his small part to spread it. And
I guess he succeded, at least with me.
I loved the guy's work and usually worship his fics once every three
months, but that's my problem. ^_^ I especially liked the SM/Teknoman
fic "For The Love Of Ragnarok", the images that fic conjured up were
incredible !
Anyway, go out and look for it. They're the best Teknoman fics ever !

Extended Play by Ukyou Kuonji
Series: Koko was Greenwood
The only serious, non-lemon Greenwood fic I know. Also probably
one of the best fics ever !
Everyone who's seen Greenwood would break down laughing after
reading every episode of this fic. Written in first person, it is a
magnificent fic overall, with all the hilarous and weird situations that
make KwG so memorable.
I hope Ukyou continues this one, since the last episode I have is
episode 24.

Trio by Christian "Flashman" Rogers
Series: SM/R1/2/DBZ
No, it is not a lemon, as some people have guessed when I showed
them the title. It is probably one of the more enjoyable fics I've
read.
Yes, I know, it seems to be a bit action oriented, but I've always read
this fic with popcorn and it is quite appropriate. This is to be simple,
is an action flick broken down into episodes. The leads of all three
series above are thrown together by circumstance and, to make things
short, they team up and kick some ass.
Quite enjoyable if you want a little mindless fun once in awhile.
Remember bring popcorn ! ^_^

BTW, any of you guys and gals remember the trio of Ninja Scroll fics
that came out over a year or two ago ? Can anyone give me a name
and an author, I'm trying to follow him up.
