Washu studied the complex network diagram.  It had taken a while to find and download the primative Earth records (yech, they use *parchment* to record such important information), but now at last she had the answer to why Tenchi was so powerful for an ordinary terran.  It should have been obvious - he wasn't terran.  Lord Yosho had been on Earth for 700 years, and *hadn't* been hanging around his short lived decendants for senimental reasons.

She chuckled. "Well, Lord Tenchi, Aeka always said you were well bred."

Well, Nobuyuki is descended from Yosho over several generations;
how much of Nobuyuki (and hence Tenchi) is Juraian depends on just
*how* many generations--and whether the lines recombined upstream
from Nobuyuki.  None of which we know.  Also complicating the
picture is whether Achika's mother counted Yosho as one of her
ancestors (hey, this *is* a guy who was originally betrothed to
his own half-sister...), which is unlikely but also unknown.
Yosho came to Earth 700 years ago; Nobuyuki could conceivably
be some 30 generations removed from him.  Nobuyuki is probably
only a fraction of a percent Juraian (if we assume 10 generations
and no crossing of the lines, Nobuyuki is about 0.1% Juraian), so
basically Tenchi is an eighth Juraian, since his Juraian heritage
from Nobuyuki is close to nil.

This of course assumes that Nobuyki and Achika are each decended from Yosho only once - ie. that in 700 years he fathered only one generation of Masaki. Considering that Yosho was once betrothed to his half-sister, it's entirely possible that with a little selective breeding (arranged marriages or, er, literally), Tenchi could be almost 100% Juraian Royal blood.


PS. The term Royal Blood, when used by horse breeders, is not complimentary.
