Darn.. I've been toying with this idea too, but was thinking of ONLY
unisng the Ranma cast, of course...

CASTS:
1. Oogami Ichiro.
Likely contenders: Ranma (R1/2), Tenchi (TM!), Mamoru

I like Ranma here, especially considering that he's a naval
officer. For added fun... Just look at the shipboard scene
in the OVA (where I believe he gets doused with water...)
Too much fun.
2. Shinguuji Sakura.
Likely contenders: Akane (R1/2), Kaoru (RK), Aeka
(TM!)
Akane, of course... But Hikaru (MKR) would be nice
too, especially since she's a kendo specialist...
And I could see Hikaru fitting into the role of
Sakura fairly well...
Kasumi would be an off-the-wall selection here,
but I could almost see her here too...
(especially if you use Akane as Kanna).
3. Iris Chateurbran. 9-year old French esper girl.
Likely contenders: Azusa/Chibi Hinako (R1/2),
Chibi-Usa (SM), Sasami (TM!)
Azusa is PERFECT, she'll be a lot more fun than
Iris.. Imagine her giving the demons French names
etc................
4. Kanzaki Sumire.
Likely contenders: Kodachi (R1/2), Umi (MKR), Rei (SM)
Kodachi is a very good choice. Spoiled brat who KNOWS
how good he is. Obvlously the company
will be "Kunou Heavy Industires"
5. Tachibana Maria.
Likely contenders: Kasumi/Nabiki (R1/2), Setsuna (SM)
Nabiki is perfect for this role (In fact, a Nabiki in one of my
fusions is half-Russian and very good with a gun).
6. Li Kouran
Likely contenders: Ukyo/Shampoo/Ranko (R1/2), Skuld
(O!MG)
Hmm... she's gotta be Chinese, but... How about Fuu for
this? She's a bit more reserved, but I could see her doing it.
Ukyou would be nice too... (perhaps her father was a
scientist who went back to China... That would provide the
typical sparks...)
7. Kirishima Kanna.
Likely contenders: Makoto (SM), Ryoko (TM!)
Hmm... Akane is another choice for this, or Ukyou (I realize
they aren't tall enough, but... neither is Makoto) BUT if you
going all Ranma, then Akane and Ukyou are taken...
Hmmm... Shampoo IS really strong. perhaps she could be
used here... In the anime, Kanna has to go home for a while,
maybe Shampoo gets called back to Joketsuzoku...
Of course, there are more than seven main
characters, but those are the ones I need the most
help on. If possible, I would like to line it up with
just one series instead of dozens.
Ranma is perfect, especially considering its
multi-fiancee tradition. As an added treat, why not
write an ending for EACH of the pilots?
And a naval officer with a water-based curse is just
too much fun... I could see the pilots recruiting Ranma
to take a role in their productions too...
I love Sakura Taisen. I want more people to love
it. And the best way for me to do so is to write a
good fanfic. If you feel the same way, please help me out!
