Washu studied the complex network diagram. It had taken a while to find and
download the primative Earth records (yech, they use *parchment* to record
such important information), but now at last she had the answer to why
Tenchi was so powerful for an ordinary terran. It should have been obvious
- he wasn't terran. Lord Yosho had been on Earth for 700 years, and
*hadn't* been hanging around his short lived decendants for senimental
reasons.
She chuckled. "Well, Lord Tenchi, Aeka always said you were well bred."
Heh. I must admit that this thread had me thinking the same thing.
One wonders, though, how Youshou managed to pull this off without setting
tongues to wagging. Or who knows, maybe he didn't, and there _are_ rumors
floating around. Either way, some fanfic fodder.

The fact that an opinion has been widely held is no evidence that it
is not utterly absurd; indeed, in view of the silliness of the
majority of mankind, a widespread belief is more often likely to be
foolish than sensible.
