Actually, it doesn't matter. From what I remembered from my science
classes, it's a matter of dominant genes not mathematics. :) The Juraiian
blood might get diluted through all that descendents of Yosho's, but that's
about it. The inherent gene structure of Tenchi might have been the
culmination of a breeding program, so to speak. >> i.e, he can wield the
Wings of the Light Hawk, which pure Juraiians themselves can't! Yosho, from
what I've seen in the OVA, have a similar shaped force shield he used to
defend against Kagato. Not sure abt the nature of that. Washu probably
figure it out... heh
Actually, yes it does matter, but culturally, not genetically. Jurai used
to be quite xenophobic. The laws did change when Emperor Azusa married
Funaho, but Yosho's half human heritage would have counted against him in
the succession to the throne, which was part of the reason for Yosho chasing
Ryoko to Earth.
Also, if I remember correctly, Tenchi could be seen as the product of
Tsunami's tampering with bloodlines, not Washu's. As Kagato dies, he says
"Well done, Tsunami," or something to the effect. Washu had nothing to do
with it, having been captured by Kagato well before Ryoko attacked Jurai (I
think). It also seems that much of Tenchi's power comes from his human
genes interacting with his Jurai genes.
Finally, Azusa is full Jurai, Yosho 1/2, Achika/Kiyone at least 1/4 Jurai
(Kiyone was intended as the original name for Tenchi's mom in the OAVs.
Remember, Achika's from the first TV series storyline), Tenchi is between
1/4 and 1/8 Jurai, but probably closer to 1/8. Again, genetically, this is
of no concern, but to Jurai nobility, Tenchi's bloodline would be of
significant interest.
All information was taken from the OAV series.
