My opinion:  I liked the scenes.  They were (of course) well written and interesting, and might make a nice story.  But I was just so eager to know what was going on with Ranma and Akane that I admit I skimmed the scene a bit.

It doesn't matter what the number is, just as long as Akane opens a can of
whup ass on Cologne. ^^

Personally, I'm waiting for the whole "Ryoga is P-Chan!??" scene :-)
