I recently read a fanfic in which a pokemon evolved and his
personality changed drastically. the example cited for this
was Charmander to Charlizard. I haven't seen enough of the
episodes ( especially in Japanese ) to know if this is
cannon or added for that story.
I would prefer private replies. If enough people ask the
results I will post them.
As someone will ask, I did try to find out on the net but
all I could find were references as to what they evolve
into.
