Here's something that been on my mind for a while. Last night I decided
to write it out. Yes, I know I should be working on my other stories, but I
couldn't resist. Anyway tell me what you think. Send C&C, etc. to

Updates
I have just completed the outlines for both Alternate Future part 13 and Neko
Can't part 5.
Nodoka's Daughter part 4 is once agian on hold. My muse hasn't talking to me
about it.
Better Future and Asuka 1/2 are also on hold. See above.
I'm still working on my Evagelion/Jurrasic Park crossover ;-)
Due to work, school and military commitments I have not had enough time to
make a new webpage to replace my old one.
To those who have sent me E-mail, I would like to thank you. Even if you
don't hear from me, know that I do read all of it. For the reasons listed
above I don't responed to it and when I do it's usually very late.
Now on to the story:

Secrets

Nodoka sat in her living room waiting for her father to come
with her monthly report. She wondered what her husband and son
would think if they knew she had known about the curses almost as
soon as they had gotten them. Ranma would no doubt be relived. It
pained her to see her son acting like Ranko when she knew he hated
it. Nodoka certainly didn't like being lied to by her son. *hmph! Right
Nodoka, who you talk about lying!* She had hoped that Genma
would find the courage to face up to his responsibility and tell her the
truth, but it seemed that it would never happen. It was getting to the
point where Nodoka just want to grab her son and tell him she didn't
care about the curse.
Nodoka looked at the clock on the wall. Usually her father
was very punctual; today he was running late. She was thankful that
her father was willing to put valuable resources away for these reports.
Without them, she would have never known about the other engagements
and the Nekoken. *I'm going to have a very long talk with Genma
one of these days.* She knew however, her husband would never
face her. Genma feared her family sword too much.
Looking at the weapon hanging on the wall, Nodoka smirked.
*And to think, he doesn't know the half of it.* She knew despite all
Genma's tough talk, he had never taken a life. If he had any idea how
much blood she herself had put on that blade, Nodoka was sure he'd
have a heart attack.
Nodoka was shaken out of her thoughts by a knock on the
door. Getting up Nodoka walked up and answered the door, it was
her father.
"Nodoka." said her father evenly.
"Come in Father." Said Nodoka bowing slightly. Her father
nodded and followed her into the living room. His grim expression was
starting to unnerve her.
"You're late, I was beginning to wonder if you were going to
show at all."
"Nodoka sit down."
Nodoka suddenly had a very bad feeling. "Is there something
wrong Father."
"Ranma didn't come home today. He's been kidnapped."
"W-What!?" She couldn't have possibly heard that right. That
happen to Akane, not Ranma. However, her father rarely made mistakes
"By who?"
The older man closed his eyes. "Yakuza, I-I think they may
have connected him to me."
"N-no." said Nodoka as her face suddenly went white. In an
instant she calmed herself and began to pour some tea, panicking now
would solve nothing. "How are we going to get him back?"
Nodoka's father looked at her for a moment then shrugged, old
habits die hard. "My people are looking for him as we speak. I am also
setting up a team to rescue the boy once we find him. In the meantime,
I suggest you talk to his father..."
Nodoka shook her head as she started to pour some tea for
her father. "Genma would jump into the koi pond before I even step
foot into the dojo..."
"I meant his real father."
Nodoka stopped pouring tea. "You know."
"Nodoka, you have me get these reports for you every month.
Did you think I wouldn't find out. I suspected something when you
suddenly left the service, agreed to marry that fool Genma, and then
had a baby eight months later. Besides, when his real father started
asking about him I knew for sure."
Nodoka nearly dropped her tea. "H-he knows!?"
"Ranma's father is many things No-chan. Stupid is not one of
them...Why didn't you tell him?"
"I didn't want Ranma involved with our way of life!"
"Ha, that was probably doomed from the start! Daughter,
the boy has too much of his father in him." The older man ignored the
glare he was getting from his child. Getting up he began to walk to the
door. "I must be going. I'll inform you as soon as we find my grandson.
...Do think of what I've told you. There's a number at the bottom of
the page."
Nodoka escorted her father out. She then walked back to the
table and looked at the report. It was more of the same for the most
part. Ranma was either fighting off his various enemies or dodging his
four girlfriends. Nodoka shook her head, her father was right, Ranma
really did have too much of his father in him. She looked at the phone
number at the bottom of the page. Picking up her phone, Nodoka
dialed the number.
[Ministry of Defense, how may I direct your call?]
"This is Nodoka Saotome, I-I need to speak with Commander
James Bond."
To be continued?
