It's in the Sauce!

make a future. Together they will take on Nerima's craziest mysteries
and villains, because they are, Two of a Kind.

[It's morning at the Tendo Dojo, a soft cool breeze creeps through the
window of the attic. It tickles Rally's nose and stirs him to awake.]

Rally: (Yawn) What a night, spent most of it straightening out this
attic. It sure was nice of them to rent this out to me.

[Rally stretches and slips on his PJ's and a robe. He opens the floor
hatch and climbs down the ladder. Too bad for him, no one has warned
him about the Ranma and Akane express that blows through the hallway
at this time of day.]

[SLAM! The trio tumbles and rolls to the edge of the stairs, all of
them tangled in the ladder.]

Akane: Ranma you idiot! Why don't you watch were you're going!

Ranma: I was able to stop, but thanks to you klutz you slammed right
into me! Why do you have to be such an uncoordinated gorilla!

Akane: What did you call me! Would you care to repeat that!

Rally: Would you two calm down your going to tip us over the stairs!

Akane and Ranma: BUTT OUT!

Rally: OK, fine.

[Akane tries to wrench her arm free but the movement causes the group
to topple down the stairs.]

Rally: [KRACK] That didn't hurt [POP!] That didn't hurt [THUD, SMACK,
THUD!!] OK, now that hurt.

[Akane and Ranma were able to free themselves and ran for the door]

Akane: Ranma! You get back here, you BAKA!

Ranma: If you think your quick enough, catch me!

Rally: [Thinking] My spine is where my spleen should be...

Kasumi: Hello Rally, are you ready for breakfast?

Rally: Just let me wash up, brush my hair, and re-align my spine.

Kasumi: Just let me know when you're ready. Father and Mr. Saotome are
already eating.

[Rally stood up and climbed back up the stairs, this time watching for
any on-coming traffic.]

Rally: [Thinking] I think I'll go to work early today, the sooner I
get back into my daily stuff the sooner my memory will return.

[After washing and getting dressed, Rally walked back down the stairs
to eat. Once again someone should have warned him about the Tendo
household.]

Rally: Where did all of the food go? I know there was some here when I
went to get dressed.

[Rally looks over at Genma who was laid back patting a very round
stomach. Kasumi walks in with a tray of food, smiling at Rally]

Kasumi: Mr. Satatome has a very large appetite, so I made sure to set
some aside for you.

[Kasumi hands over the tray to Rally. He then walks over to the table
and prepares to eat.]

Genma: Well my boy, I'm sure you would mind sharing!

[Genma leaps for Rally's tray, like a tiger pouncing on his prey.
Rally brings up his foot planting it right in Genma's face.

Genma: murph! [Thud]

Rally: Sorry, reflex.

Soun: Ha Ha Ha, That's quite all right, it's become one of the
household traditions. If you can keep Genma from your plate then
you're more than welcome to eat here.

[Rally looks at Genma with a wide grin]

Rally: No hard feelings?

Genma: [Crawling back to his spot with a red footprint on his face]
No, not all<grumble, mumble, gripe>.

[Rally finishes his breakfast and takes his dishes to the kitchen.]

Rally: That was great Kasumi, I really can't thank all of you enough
helping me out like this.

Kasumi: We're glad to help. Have there been any improvements on your
condition?

Rally: A dream here, a flash there, nothing solid. It comes in bits
and pieces.

Kasumi: Here, let me give you something. [Kasumi opened a cupboard and
pulled out a brown leather book. She walks over and hands it to Rally.

Rally: Nice, what's it for?

Kasumi: Whenever you have another dream or a memory, write it down. It
will make things easier for you.

Rally: [Rally stood up and gave a small kiss on Kasumi's cheek.]
Thanks Kasumi, you're one in a billion.

Kasumi: [Puts her hand on her cheek] Oh my. [Blushes]

[After finding the directions, Rally heads off for his office.]

<Kobe University>

[Nabiki Tendo was bored; unfortunately there wasn't much she could do
about it. After the past week adventure, she missed quite a bit of
work. So whether she likes it or not she was going to have to suffer
through it.]

Nabiki: [Thinking] This could not be anymore boring.

Teacher: Now we will go over the economic instability in Bosnia.

Nabiki: [Thinking] Oh joy, I was wrong. I've got more important things
to do than sit here and listen to this.

[Nabiki gets up, gathers her things, and walks out the door. Just as
she closes the door behind her, the teacher follows her out.]

Teacher: Miss. Tendo, where do you think you are going?

Nabiki: I have some important business that I have to take care of.

Teacher: You realize that if you do this, you grade in this class will
be in jeopardy.

Nabiki: No, it will not, because this little event never happened.

Teacher: Of course it will! I will not tolerate anyone cutting this
class.

Nabiki: Tell me sir, how is your wife?

Teacher: She fine, why?

Nabiki: No, I mean the other one that's been pregnant for 5 months
now.

[The teacher slowly gulped and walked back inside. Nabiki let a sly
smirk cross her lips, turned and preceded to her destination.]

<An hour later in Nerima>

Nabiki: Shori better have the paperwork ready, I don't know how long
I'll be able to keep Rally in line without it.

[She walks down an alley and stops a metal door that has a small slit
that's eye level to Nabiki.]

Nabiki: [Knocking on the door.] Shori, open up now!

[The small eye slit in the door opens and a voice comes from the other
side.]

Voice: What's the password?

Nabiki: Open this door or I make your life a living hell?

Voice: ...close enough.

[The door opens and a man standing about 4 feet high stands in front
of Nabiki. He's wearing purple lens shades, and his hair is streaked
with a blue streak down the center of his hair.]

Shori: It's always a pleasure Nabiki, killed any kittens lately?

Nabiki: Why are you afraid they mistake you for a mouse?

Shori: Ohhh, it's always to a delight to have you visit. It always
makes me wanna do some thing creative, like slash my wrists.

Nabiki: Don't do me any favors.

Shori: Why are you here.

Nabiki: I'm here for the paper work; I need them now.

Shori: Very well, but there's one small problem.

Nabiki: And what would that be? Couldn't hack into the Ministry's
database again?

[Shori walks over to a tall filling cabinet]

Shori: No, someone took my ladder and you files are in the top
cabinet.

[Sweat drop forms on Nabiki's forehead.]

Nabiki: Honestly. Here, let me help you.

[Nabiki picks Shori up and drops him on top of the filing cabinet.]

Shori: Thank you. Here's everything. Now let's discuss payment.

[Nabiki raises an eyebrow and gives Shori a icy stare.]

Nabiki: Payment? You owe me for putting a stop to the rumor that you
like to cross-dress.

Shori: Yeah, but you're the one who started it!

Nabiki: Details, details. Hand over the paperwork.

[Shori smiled and handed the papers to Nabiki, Nabiki placed them in
here brief case and walked out the door.

Shori: HahahHAHAHAhaheeeee *snort*. I thought as much, with the extra
bit of information I put in the Hall of Records, you'll pay me
anything to get out of the hell I put you in.

[Shori looks around and notices he's still on top of the cabinet]

Shori: Hey!! Come back here and help me down! I'll starve up here!!!
HEEELLLLLPPPPP!!!!

<At the security agency>

Jan: YOU DID WHAT??!!

Nabiki: Calm down, as long as we play our part everything will be
fine.

Jan: We can't do this, it's totally wrong. Why are you doing this?

Nabiki: Two reasons. First, with all of the new popularity we need a
Rally Danton. Second, I need a sizeable tax write-off, and he just
happens to be a one man wrecking crew. With the damages he can cause,
I can use those losses to cover me when tax time comes around.

Jan: You are crazy; there is no way I'm...

[Rally walks through the door, wearing a white long sleeve shirt, gray
vest and slacks. He has his long silver hair in a tail, plus he's
wearing round gold-rimmed glasses he found in his coat.]

Rally: Hi Nabiki, hope you don't mind if I showed up early?

Jan: [Thinking] OH my god, what a hunk!

Nabiki: Not at all, ready for your first day? This is Jan; she's been
our secretary.

Jan: Um,Ummmm, ohhhh. Hi?

Rally: Hello, sorry if I don't remember you. This amnesia thing is
kind of rough.

Jan: Oh that's ok stud...I mean sir..heh. I'm going to go make some
coffee. [I am going to burn in hell.]

[Nabiki walks Rally to the back office, and then sits him in his
seat.]

Nabiki: Well, how does it feel? Anything coming back yet?

Rally: No not yet, maybe if I do some work.

Nabiki: Good idea, in fact we just happen to have something. There's
been a slight disturbance with the local restaurants. Mainly all the
old restaurants are getting run into the ground by a new one.

Rally: So, that happens all the time, why are we needed?

Nabiki: Well, it seems that the new restaurant is serving the same
exact dishes as the old ones, but at a cheaper price.

Rally: Ohhh, I get it. Someone's been stealing recipes. Then they
lower the prices to ruin the competition.

Nabiki: Exactly, the locals have hired us to find out what's going on.
You'll start work at one of our clients; her name is Ukyou Kuonji. She
owns an Okonomiyaki restaurant; I'll walk you over there. Once there,
you and I will find out what the new place is up too.

Rally: Sounds good to me, let's go.

[Before the we're able to walk out the door, Jan handed Nabiki a
note.]

Jan: Someone from the immigration office just called. They would like
to see you and Mr. Danton at City Hall as soon as possible.

Nabiki: If Shori messed up, I'll make him beg for me to put him in
jail.

[City Hall]

Rally: I wonder why Immigration needed to see us? I thought I was
already a citizen of Japan.

Nabiki: Well the paperwork was still in processing even before your
amnesia. [Thinking] I'm going to run Shori through a paper shredder
when I get a hold of him.

Rally: Well that explains some things; I hope that there isn't a
problem.

Nabiki: Probably just some minor red tape we may have to work through,
don't worry about it.

[When they walked in to the office. A secretary greeted them and
pointed them in the right direction]

Secretary: Mr. Tinchimiro, Mr. and Mrs. Danton are here.

Nabiki: What? That's Miss. Tendo [What was that all about?]

Tinchimiro: Please sit, I apologize for the sudden urgency, but there
are some things I need to discuss with you.

[Mr. Tinchimiro looked only a couple of years older than Rally; Nabiki
wondered how a man so young was able to get a position like this.]

Rally: Is there a problem with my citizenship?

Tinchimiro: No, No, but there are some issues that need to be
discussed based on the nature of your citizenship.

Nabiki: And what are those issues?

Tinchimiro: Well the citizenship has been approved, but it's under
some scrutiny. Citizenship based on your marriage to Miss. Tendo, is
well, frowned upon.

Rally: Marriage? I'm married, when did this happen? How did this
happen? Nabiki.... Nabiki?

Nabiki: [Thinking] He's dead, no he's not, but by Kami, he's going to
wish he were. Think Nabiki, if this Tinchimiro guy even suspects that
something underhanded has been done; he may open an investigation. If
that happens, he's going to discover the truth about how Rally's
records came to be. Then they're going to look for Shori, and I know
that little pipsqueak would talk.

Rally: Nabiki, help me out here. Helllooooo, Nabiki. [He turns to Mr.
Tinchimiro] I'm sorry about all of this, I've recently received an
injury that's robbed me of my memory. Nabiki has been filling in the
blanks, but apparently, she's been leaving things out. [He looks at
Nabiki and snaps his fingers in front of her face] Nabiki? [Thinking]
The wheel is turning, but the hamster's dead.

Nabiki: Huh? Oh, sorry. Mr. Tinchimiro, I have to apologize that I am
at fault here, [Looking at Mr. Tinchimiro with big puppy dog eyes.]
The only reason I have not told.... my husband.... that we were
married, is because I did not want to pressure him into anything. I
mean, could you imagine suddenly finding out your married? Out of the
blue, BOOM, hitched! I wanted to spare him the pressure that would
come with such a revelation.

Rally: [Thinking] Pressure? My idea of pressure is deciding what type
of coffee to drink in the morning, decaf, or caffinated! This is
wayyyy beyond pressure! I think I'm gonna be sick...

Nabiki: [Looking at Rally] Can you forgive me...sweetheart. [Thinking]
I'm just digging myself a deeper grave.

Rally: Huh, yeah, I think... I want to go now.

Tinchimiro: Of course, we will need to schedule a time to where
someone can meet with you about all of this.

Nabiki: For what reason? Is there something else?

Tinchimiro: It's just standard procedure; someone will be coming to
your home and evaluating your marriage. There are so many false cases
these days; it's become rather a bother to Immigration Services.

Nabiki: [Thinking] Great, just great. Now what am I going to do?

Rally: That will be fine sir, let's get out of here Nabiki. We still
have a job to do; I need something to do right now to help get my head
straight.

[They exited the office, Nabiki noticing the sullen look on Rally's
face.]

Nabiki: Are you ok? [Thinking] He's actually taking this kind of hard.

Rally: Yeah, I'll be fine. Considering a whole new loop has been added
to my life.

Nabiki: I'll discuss this more when we get outside.

[Once outside they sit on a bench out in front of city hall.]

Nabiki: Here's the whole story. The immigration department wasn't
going to OK your citizenship unless we gave them a really good reason,
so we came up with a very elaborate plan.

Rally: We, as in you and me?

Nabiki: Why of course, in fact you thought most of it up. It took
awhile for you to convince me, but out of the goodness of my own
heart, I went along with it.

Rally: So this is just a scam, so that I can get citizenship? There's
nothing really between us.

Nabiki: Exactly. Now we have to figure out how to convince them that
this is real.

Rally: Well, me living in the attic of your families' house, and you
in an apartment across town don't look to convincing to me.

Nabiki: You got a point; we'll discuss this later. You wanted to get
to work and we happen to be late for an appointment.

[Rally and Nabiki stood up. Rally then picked Nabiki up and cradled
her in his arms. ]

Nabiki: Hey, what are you..

Rally: Which direction is the restaurant?

[Nabiki pointed and Rally leaped into the sky.]

Rally: We'll make better time this way, and I need some air.

Nabiki: Not that I'm worried, but don't go too high.

Rally: [A slight smile came across his lips] Yes, dear.

Nabiki: [grinning] Don't you start. [Thinking] I hope he bought all of
that. How in the world am I going to get myself out of this?

[Once they arrived at Ukyou's, Rally dropped behind the building in
the alley.]

Nabiki: You know, I'm actually getting to like bouncing from rooftop
to rooftop with you.

Rally: Hey, it's the best way to travel, but then there's the
occasional bombardment of bugs and birds.

Nabiki: [sighs] Honestly.

[Nabiki and Rally walk through the back door of the restaurant. The
scent of Okonomiyaki fills the air as they walk into the kitchen
area.]

Nabiki: Ukyou, are you in here?

Ukyou: Right here, I'm just taking inventory. Not much else to do with
everything in a slump.

Rally: Well, we're here to try and fix that.

Ukyou: Nabiki, who's your friend?

Nabiki: This is Rally, we're partners in the investigation firm you
hired.

Ukyou: Well Rally, what did Nabiki blackmail you with to work for her?

Rally: What? Nothing, what are you talking about?

Nabiki: Oh she's just joking. [In an icy tone] Aren't you Ukyou?

Ukyou: Yipe.. Of course I am! hehhehe..ahem. Rally, let me fix you a
special and I'll fill you in on what's going on.

Rally: That sounds great! What's in a special?

Ukyou: If you've never had one, it would be best if I didn't tell you.

Rally: Oh joy. If any of it moves, I'm outta here. Nabiki tells me
you've been having problems with a new restaurant that opened
recently.

Ukyou: Not just me, but every other restaurant is in trouble because
of them.

[Rally and Nabiki sat down at a counter that surrounded a flat
rectangular frying surface on three sides. Ukyou walked to the center
and began frying the Okonomiyaki. While she did this, she continued to
talk to rally.]

Ukyou: Anyway, two other restaurants and myself have pulled our funds
together to hire you. The problem is this new restaurant is serving
the same dishes we are, but at a cheaper price. Same exact recipe,
same taste, but a cheaper price. My sauce has been a family secret for
years; somehow they got their hands on it.
The story is the same with the other two, same recipe, lower price.

Rally: So instead of going to your restaurant, they go to this new
place at a cheaper price. Where is this new place?

Nabiki: Follow me. [Rally stood up and followed Nabiki. She cracked
one of Ukyou's front windows and pointed to a building across the
street. The sign read Delicious Temptations, and out front is a line
of people waiting to get in.]

Rally: Wow, that place is really popular. We need to somehow get in
there, but it looks like we'll have to wait a week.

Nabiki: Actually, we can get in tonight. I pulled some strings, and we
have a reservation tonight. We can do a little scouting and find out
what's so special about that place. You're buying of course.

Rally: Why am I not surprised? Any more surprises you'd like to drop
on me?

Nabiki: Since you asked, to pay for the dinner, you're going to need
money. I know that your funds are dry, so I took the liberty of
finding you a quick job.

Rally: All of a sudden my stomach just dropped to my feet...

Nabiki: For the rest of the day, you'll be working for Ukyou. When you
are done, you'll head back home, and be ready to go at 7:00 pm.

[Nabiki patted Rally on the back and walked out of the restaurant.
Rally was having a problem keeping his jaw off of the floor.]

[Ukyou placed a plate on the counter and flipped the Okonomiyaki on to
it.]

Ukyou: Here ya go sugar. Once you finish this, you can get to work. I
have a small stack of dishes for you that need to be washed.

Rally: I'm a dishwasher? This sucks..

[Later]

Rally: [Thinking] I guess it's a good thing business is slow. I have
enough dishes to last me the rest of the night!

[Ukyou walked in with a stack of dishes that almost touched the
ceiling. Rally's eyes shot wide open, and his jaw hit the ground.]

Ukyou: I forgot about these. I haven't had a regular dishwasher in
weeks! These have been building up the past couple of days.

[Ukyou hands the stack to Rally and walks back up front. Rally just
barely manages to balance the towering stack of dishes.]

Rally: Nabiki, you're going DOWN!

[Rally slips on a water puddle and the dishes scatter in the air.]

Rally: OH NooooOO! [Rally's arms become a blur as he catches each
plate and stacks it on the counter. He begins to notice a white glow
surrounding his body as he began to move faster. In a matter of
seconds the plates are neatly stacked.]

Rally: Whew! Caught them all. I couldn't afford breaking any of them.
[He looks at his hands] What in the world just happened to me? I felt
this incredible rush of energy in my arms, then whoosh! Hmmm, I
wonder?

[Rally concentrated on the feeling again. When he noticed his arms
begin to glow again, he went to work. In a matter of minutes, the
tower of dishes were washed, then dried.]

Rally: Man, I've never felt soooo tired. I better save that for
emergencies. Ranma may have an idea of what's going on. I'll ask her
when I get home. Hey, Ukyou! I'm done. Is there anything else?

[Ukyou walked in with a look of disbelief on her face. She could not
believe her eyes when she inspected the dishes, each and every one of
them were clean.]

Ukyou: Here you go. [Hands him some money.] Can I ask how you did all
of those, that fast?

Rally: [Smiled, then bowed to Ukyou.] Ancient Chinese secret.

Ukyou: [Thinking] He knows Cologne?

[Nabiki's Apartment]

Nabiki: [Thinking] What in the world am I going to wear? Blue skirt
and low cut top, no. Red dinner dress with a high slit up to the
thigh, Uh-uh. White dress, some cleavage, skin tight skirt that goes
down to the knees, yes. Now which earrings? I wonder what's his
favorite color? Wait, why should I care?

Nadie: Wow, you look great! Who's the guy?

Nabiki: [Wide Eyed] What do you mean?! Its just business!

Nadie: Whoa there. I've seen what you wear to business, and that is
nowhere near it.

[Nabiki looks in the mirror, the top is a loose long-sleeved that
allowed some cleavage to show. The bottom was tight fitting skirt,
showing each and everyone of Nabiki's curves.]

Nabiki: Ack! I can't go like this. I can't change either; if I do I'll
be late. I'll just go like this; hopefully he doesn't get the wrong
idea. See you later Nadie.

Nadie: [Thinking] The wrong idea? What was going through your head
when you put all of that on? It's definitely a man.

[Tendo Residence]

[Rally was in Akane's room looking at himself in the mirror. Ranma was
snickering as Akane tried to tie Rally's tie. Unfortunately for Rally,
Akane forgets how strong she is from time to time. Especially when she
gets frustrated.]

Akane: Arrrgggghhhhh [Hands moving in a blur, teeth gritting, battle
aura blazing.]

Rally: The..world..is going dark... [Eyes bulging, turning blue, neck
being squeezed to the size of a pencil.]

Ranma: BwahaHAHAHAHAHA! Akane! HaHahahaa! You're going to snap his
neck! [Tears streaming down his face from laughing.]

Akane: Shut up you jerk! I'm trying to concentrate! Arrrrrggghhhh!

Rally: Accckkkk... such pretty..colors. Mommy? Is that you?

Akane: There, it's a little lopsided, but it looks good.

[Rally slowly turns around and looks into the mirror. The tie has been
knotted about three times, and what was supposed to be the front was
turned around.]

Rally: Uhhhhh, you know, I think I'll go with a clip on. [Thinking]
Before I end up in ICU.

Ranma: You are such a klutz! Where did you learn how to tie like that?

Akane: It just needs some more work! [She noticed the fear in Rally's
face when she said that.]

Ranma: Well look at it like this, we finally found something you do
worse than cooking.

Rally: [Thinking] Open mouth insert foot.

Ranma: Of course your martial arts skill is only just better than
that.

Rally: [Thinking] Insert other foot. 5,4,3,2,1

Akane: RANMA NO BAKA!! <KRACK>

Ranma: You are soooo uncute!!

[Ranma went sailing out the window, then disappeared into the sky.]

Rally: [Thinking] Holy low earth orbit Batman. [Turns and heads out
the door] Well it's been fun but I gotta go, bye-bye!

Akane: Rally! Get back here I'm not done!

[Rally darted up to the attic and leaped out the window. Akane stuck
her head out the window.]

Akane: Ralllllyyyyy! You can't go out like that!

Rally: I can't go out with my head separated from my shoulders either.

[Rally leaped over the compound wall and landed softly on the
sidewalk.]

Nabiki: Well usually I use the front gate.

Rally: Nabiki! We gotta go, now!

Nabiki: Whatever for? What did you do?

Akane: Rrrraaallllyyyyyyyyy!

Rally: eep.

Nabiki: Never mind. You ruin this dress - you pay for the cleaning
bill.

[Rally scooped Nabiki up, leaped for the roof across the street, and
then he leaped for the sky.]

[The restaurant Delicious Temptations]

[When they landed Nabiki straightened Rally's tie, she couldn't help
but snicker.]

Rally: What's so funny?

Nabiki: You can do many things, except tie a tie-knot.

Rally: Hey, those things can be dangerous. Akane proved that to me.

Nabiki: She can be a little hi-strung at times. She has been improving
though since Ranma arrived.

Rally: What's the story with those two? I can tell there's something
between them, but every time I see them, Ranma's insulting Akane, and
Akane is knocking Ranma into orbit.

Nabiki: That is a very long story. You wouldn't believe the history
with those two.

Rally: Well this is going to be a long dinner, we have plenty of time.

Nabiki: What are we going to be doing?

Rally: We'll first we scope the place out, and then when we get an
opening we check out what's going on in the kitchen. It would be a
good idea to find out who is making all of these copycat dishes.

Nabiki: Sounds good, shall we go?

[Rally holds out his arm and Nabiki loops her arm in his and they walk
through the front door. Once inside a hostess confirms their
reservation and walks them to a table.]

Rally: Pretty classy place. I wish I could remember if I've been to a
place this formal.

Nabiki: You will in time. Have you been able to remember anything
else?

Rally: Just dreams and flashes, Kasumi was kind enough to give me a
notebook to write things down. I just wish something would come along
so I can write something. Anyways, you were going to tell me the story
of Ranma and Akane.

Nabiki: Ah, yes. Let's see, it started a couple of years ago. When our
father called us down to the living room.

[Nabiki went through the history of Ranma. The betrovel, the
kidnappings, the battles. She excluded the curses, figuring there was
no way he was gong to believe her. They ordered appetizers, soup, and
a substantial dinner.
Rally just and watched watched Nabiki talk, he couldn't get over the
way she looked tonight.]

Rally: You look great tonight.

Nabiki: Uhhh, thank you. Didn't plan on wearing this, I just looked
in the mirror and there it was.

Rally: I'm kinda glad you did.

[Rally felt someone walk up behind him. Before he could turn he heard
a voice.]

Kuno: Nabiki Tendo, I notice you were hear and decided to grace you
with my presence. How have you been as of late?

Nabiki: Kuno baby, fine as always. What brings you here?

Kuno: I decided to see what was special about this establishment. I
then realized that this place would not be able to reach any notoriety
if I did not make an appearance.

Rally: [Thinking] Is this guy for real? His ego is larger than this
room.

Nabiki: Kuno baby, I'd like to introduce you to Rally Daton. He's my
partner in a security business I've become involved in.

[Rally stood up and offered his hand, Kuno only looked at it then
looked at Nabiki.]

Kuno: His pleasure I'm sure. When did you start socializing with
common Americans?

Rally: Excuse me? How would you like to find out how common I am?

Nabiki: Calm down Rally, that's just Kuno's way.

Kuno: What makes you think that a commoner like you could even
challenge me? Your not even a commoner, you're an American.

[That did it. Rally immediately grabbed Kunos' throat and squeezed,
hard.]

Nabiki: Rally, your making a scene. Let go of him.

Rally: Not until he apologizes. I suggest you start while you still
have some air.

Nabiki: Rally, please.

[Rally looked at Nabiki and reluctantly let go of Kuno. Kuno collapsed
to one knee and gasped for air.]

Kuno: You know I could sue you for this outrage.

Rally: You know, I suspected you were a sewer.

Kuno: Instead, I challenge you to combat! You shall know thy shame and
feel the righteous rage of Tatawaki Kuno, <Lightning struck the ground
outside.> Blue Thunder of Hokkaido University!

Rally: [Thinking] O.K. so the lightning impresses me. I wonder how he
did that?

Nabiki: Would you care to make wager on the outcome Kuno baby?

Rally: Nabiki? What are you doing?

Nabiki: Trying to make a buck, what of it? So Kuno, say 10,000 yen?

Kuno: Agreed, it will be an easy victory and easy money. Do you accept
American?

Rally: Fine with me, set the time and place and I'll be there.

Nabiki: Rally, no!

Kuno: Too late Nabiki. The time is noon, the place, my home. Your
wife, know the way quite well.

[Kuno left and the two sat back down.]

Rally: So, let me guess, a friend?

Nabiki: Oh, once upon a time.

Rally: Really?

[Nabiki noticed something going on at the door to the kitchen. Two men
were having an argument.]

Nabiki: Rally, look over there.

Rally: Hmmmm, very interestink. This is probably a good time to take a
peek. How about you run a little interference. I'll try to slip in.

[Nabiki stood up and walked over to the two gentlemen. Once she had
their attention Rally got up and made his way to the door.]

Rally: Smart girl, keep them talking while I just slip in and..

[Before Rally could open the door a very large individual stepped in
his way. The man was about twice the width of Rally and a couple of
feet taller.]

Rally: My, my. Aren't we rather, huge. Do you know were the bathroom
is?

[The man didn't speak; when the other two noticed what was going on
they turned their attention to Rally. A tall and very slender man
walked up to Rally.]

Okitio: I'm going to have to ask you to leave, apparently you can't
stop making a nuisance of you self. Bo-Bo will help you to the door.

Rally: That's not necessary, I can walk just fine. Come on Nabiki;
let's go grab a burger.

[Nabiki and Rally walked out and turned to face the restaurant.]

Nabiki: Well, that went well. What do we do now?

Rally: We wait until it closes, and we pay this place another visit,
tonight.

Nabiki: We? You actually want me to come along?

Rally: Why not, I could use the company. We're partners right?

Nabiki: [Smiled] Right.

[Later that night, two dark figures drop lithely on the ground.]

Nabiki: Well we're here, now what?

Rally: Time for a little break in the law. Watch closely.

[Rally walked up to the back door and pulled a small pouch out of his
pocket. He bent down and started to work on the lock.]

Nabiki: Where did you get those? Do you remember how to do this?

Rally: I did some inventory on my long coat. You won believe the stuff
I have stored in here, and I haven't been through all of the pockets.

Nabiki: Well, hurry up before someone sees us.

Rally: Open ses me.

[Rally pushes the door open and they walk inside. The kitchen is dark
and quiet; Nabiki turns on a flashlight and has a look around.]

Nabiki: Have you noticed something about this kitchen yet?

Rally: Yeah, it looks brand new. They've been open for a while now
haven't they?

Nabiki: For almost a month, look over here.

[Nabiki walks to the far wall and shines her flashlight. The wall is
covered with microwaves from top to bottom.]

Nabiki: This place has a whole lot of microwaves. I can understand
maybe two or three, but sixteen?

Rally: I just checked the grills; none of them are hooked up. How are
they making the food without grills? Even though we didn't eat, I
checked out everyone else. They didn't look like microwave diners.

Nabiki: I know, I saw the same thing.

[Rally walked over to a fridgerator and leaned on it, it was working.
He checked the other ones, they were not working.]

Rally: Well, what's so special about you Mr. Fridge? Hey Nabiki, check
this out.

Nabiki: Did you find something?

[Nabiki noticed the shadows move behind Rally.]

Nabiki: Rally, behind you!

[Rally leaped and expanded his staff. He then stood in front of Nabiki
and went into a defensive stance.]

Okitio: I knew you would be a problem; it's a good thing we decided to
hang around.

Nabiki: We?

Okitio: Why Bo-Bo and myself. Mr. Bo-Bo introduce youself.

[Out of the corner of his eye, Rally caught something large moving
towards them. Rally grabbed Nabiki around the waist and leaped away
from this new threat.]

<SLAM!!>

[The floor where they were standing was smashed into the dust. When
Rally looked back, he recognized the large behemoth from earlier.]

Rally: Hey, I know when I'm not wanted! Come on Nabiki, I hear that
there's an Animaniacs marathon on T.V. tonight.

Nabiki: I can't stand that show.

[Rally leaped out the door and was just about to leap into the air,
but something wrapped around his ankle. He looked over his shoulder
and there was Okitio standing with his arm stretched at almost five
feet and wrapped around his ankle twice!]

Rally: Ewwwwww. That a ten on the weird-o-meter.

Nabiki: Incredible, how is that possible?

Okitio: My joints have always been stretchable, the doctors called it
a birth defect, and I'm also quadruple jointed. Through years of
training I can stretch any limb up to 5 times its normal length.

Rally: Lucky dog, I bet you have no problems getting those hard to
reach itchy spots on your back. Nabiki run, NOW.

[Rally tossed three small silver balls at Okitio. He immediately
released and leaped out of the way. The cylinders blew open and wire
mesh shot out. Bo-Bo wasn't as quick and was engulfed in the wire
mesh.]

Okitio: I'm afraid you've made him angry, and that's not a healthy
thing.

[Bo-Bo exploded from the mesh and charged Rally at incredible speed.
Rally flipped over Bo-Bo, dodging a massive right that struck a wall.
When Rally landed, he leaped at Bo-Bo and struck a drop kick right to
Bo-Bo's chin. The blow snapped Bo-Bo's head back, but he was
immediately on the attack again. Bo-Bo clasped his hands together and
tried an ax handle blow, but Rally sidestepped and executed a back
flip. During the back flip, Rally stuck out his left foot just a
little farther, striking Bo-Bo in the face. Bo-Bo then tried a front
kick of his own. Rally swung his staff down catching Bo-Bo in the
knee, and then Rally struck Bo-Bo in the side of the head with a back
swing. Rally then completed his turn, and thrusted the end of his
staff right in Bo-Bo's gut.]

Okitio: This isn't going to well; he is too quick for Bo-Bo. Ah, I see
something that may slow him down.

[Okitio noticed that Nabiki was still around watching the fight at the
end of the alley. He thrusted his arm out, stretching it towards
Nabiki. It was so fast that Nabiki didn't have time to move, the arm
wrapped around her neck and dragged her towards Okitio.]

Okitio: Excuse me, but I believe this is yours?

[Rally stopped and glanced where the voice came from. He froze when he
noticed Okitio's arm wrapped around Nabiki's neck.]

Rally: Don't hurt her. What do you want?

Okitio: Why, for you to simply stand still of course. If you do not, I
snap her neck.

Nabiki: Rally, NO!!

[Rally simply looked at Nabiki, then he dropped his staff. Bo-Bo once
again charged at Rally then the behemoth spoke.]

Bo-Bo: Tenshin Amaguriken!!!

[Bo-Bo's arms became a blur as he pounded Rally, over and over again.
For a brief second Rally looked over at Nabiki, and could have sworn
she was going to...cry? Then blackness took over and so did pain.]
