It's finished. 180KB just went to pre-readers about
five minutes ago. It will go to FFML as soon as I hear
from them. Thanks to all the people who keep asking
about Sukeban. ^_^

"What do you mean you _forgot_!" Artemis paced angrily
back and forth in front of an uncharacteristically
chastened Rei. "It was your idea to cut school and
follow her all over town. And _now_ you say you forgot
to find out about the phone call!?" He was fairly
spitting in his anger. "I waited in that alley for
_hours_. Do you know how long it took me to clean my
_fur_!" He stalked toward the fire priestess. "I still
smell like carp crap!"
"He really does." Minako seconded the angry and
odoriferous moon cat. "Mom suggested we shave him
before he clogged the air conditioner filter." She
edged away from the patchy white cat. "He was too fast
for us though."
Artemis spared a moment to snarl at his supposed
partner, then turned back to Rei. "What in the world
were you _doing_ in there all that time?"
"Ooooo, Rei's blushing!" Minako teased. The other
senshi watched fascinated as a fiery red tide crept up
Rei's neck.
"Hey," Bored with Artemis's diatribe Makoto had been
poking around Rei's room. Reaching down she snagged
the bit of shiny black leather that was protruding
from under Rei's bed. "what's this stuff?"
Rei spun away from Artemis to see Mako holding a
complicated tangle of black leather and gold chain
topped by a scarlet feather.
"Eeep."
