We've been receiving quite a lot of mail concerning Genma's Daughter, and it seems that most C & C has mixed views toward it.
I would like to issue a challenge to all those who has an inkling about the fic's pacing, characterization, realism, plot, etc...

Make use of all the criticisms and comments and then construct a new, better plotted, better characterization, and more realistic Genma's Daughter.

Everyone has a good point about everything in the fic. Now, I want to see how it will come out with everything set out right this time. Any one of you. Anytime. It is obvious anyway that neither Deborah Goldsmith nor Steve Pardue has any intention of changing the basic premise of Genma's Daughter. Besides, I find their explanation on the matter quite valid. So, instead of waiting for them to apologize profusely and chastise themselves in making such a terrible fic, I challenge everyone out there to make a better fic instead. I couldn't do it; I tried, but Deborah Goldsmith's writing is light years ahead of mine.
