that concept, though it's been taking forever and
nobody probably remembers it.
Ah. That's probably it.
Anyway, if one compares
the original manga and VIZ translation, one realizes
that Ranma's so-called "trash-talk" is overly
exaggerated in the latter. In the manga, Ranma does
talk rough, but not to the extent in this fic, or many
other fic for that manner: I haven't read him making
a grammar mistake for Japanese equivalent of double
negatives, for example. And he CAN smooth-talk if he
wants to; listen to him try to charm Tsubasa, it's
corny enough to make Tuxy sound normal.
Okay, I'll consider your advice on the language.
I'm not saying that the manga is the only valid
resource, I'm just saying that there are more than two
possibilities for the situation in your fic. Maybe
this sounded like a rant, sorry if it did.
No problem. No doubt that are more than two possibilities. :)
