I would like to mention that Parts 1&2 actually make a fairly
complete story. It has a beginning, a roller-coaster of a middle and
decently resolved ending with Ranko facing forward toward the future
with high if not great expectations.
True, there are some things that need further resolving. Kuno,
Genma, Soun to name a few. But when I finished Part 2 I felt it was
a good ending.
Actually, I felt that the end of Part 2 was a strong resolution too. But I
didn't feel I could leave the issues between Ranko and her father unresolved
(and you can see how those turn out in Part 3, posted tonight).
Ranko is still in the process of finding out who she is, and while we all do
that all through our lives, Ranko should reach a better understanding of
herself in Part 4, and that's where I plan to end it.
Thanks so much for the kind words. I've been very happy to hear that so many
people have liked it.
